Let’s start from Dec 7 2020 (Surgery day) once I got home from surgery, I noticed that my nose was extremely crooked when my husband was changing the drip pads and sent a message to Paula (Dr Waldman’s nurse) at 7:42pm that evening asking if that was normal, I was told it was swelling and would subside to not stress over it. After that text, a string of others was sent expressing my concerns about the crookedness of my nose (see photos) My concerns were brushed off and I was made to feel insane for being so bothered by the results. I brought it up during my in-office visits where I was told the same thing about the tip being crooked… that it would heal, to stop obsessing that it would fill out. From my very first post op appointment in office (the day after surgery) that Dr Waldman nor his nurse was present for it, I felt that I was brushed off regarding my concern. When I voiced my worries about the crookedness of my tip I was told “it’s swelling, don’t worry”. When I came back to… the office for my splint removal appointment, I left in tears due to the fact I had major irregularities in the left side of my bridge along with my tip being exceptionally crooked and my nostrils uneven. I had expressed my concerns regarding this multiple times and was told to “let it heal”. My third appointment I was, again, told that it was swelling and that I needed to give it time to heal, no empathy for the despair I was feeling. Dr Waldman advised me during that appointment that nothing should be done to my nose until 1 year has passed and my nose has healed completely from the surgery. My last in office appointment I was greeted with the solution of “let’s put filler in to even the bridge out”, which contradicted his advice to do nothing until it was healed completely. When I stated I didn’t want to have to maintain my rhinoplasty with filler for the rest of my life and that it wouldn’t fix my nostrils nor deviated septum I was told “nothings ever perfect”. And as I know that nothing is ever perfect, the results from my surgery have been unsatisfactory from day 1… I never left a visit with this practice without crying the entire way home. The lack of empathy I received from Dr Waldman and Paula, along with the results from my surgery has had traumatic effects on my daily life (psychologically, not being able to breathe properly and appearance wise). After consulting with multiple other surgeons and finally finding one that I feel I am confident in and feel that I can trust to repair my nose, I now have a surgery plan in place to fix my messed up nose. The surgery plan is not a easy one…. It is a Revision Septorhinolasty with Autologous Rib Grafting that will take 7+ hours of surgery and a hefty cost goes with this surgery and I have to wait until I am 1 year post op to have it completed.

Excellent care, skilled surgeon, tells it like it is, goes out of his way to make his patient happy. Natural looking facelift with no pain due to his excellent skill.

I wish I had seen Dr. Waldman before wasting my money on a supposedly "reknowned" surgeon on the East Coast. Not only did Dr. Waldman know a lot more than this other plastic surgeon, but he was able to fix some of the other surgeon's bad work, and I left feeling better about my appearance than I had in almost half a year. Sometimes the best doctors aren't the ones with the big names, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Waldman to anyone in the Midwest!

I've been a Patient of Dr. Waldman's for 25 years. My first Surgery was having my Nose Re-done. I truly was terrified to Correct it, but it was such an Insecurity issue with Me. I went to several (3) Surgeons over a year time period, but never felt comfortable enough to pull the Trigger. I had gone on a Ski Trip with 9 Local Doctor's of various fields of Medicine. I over heard one of them speaking of their Child having an accident and needed Stitches, and he had placed a call into Randy Waldman to come close the wound because it was on the Child's Face, and he didn't want just anyone to sew him up, and Randy came immediately to help. With that, I chimed in and asked if he did Noses, and all 9 were in agreeance he was the best Facial Doc in Lexington, bar none. I immediately returned and scheduled an appointment. I went Dec 31 for a Consult, and walkef out with excitement about my impending Surgery I had Scheduled before I left that day. I had never felt the Attention and the… Comfortableness I h as f with my 3 prior Visits with other Surgeons. My Surgery truly changed my appearance, but the best part was no one could figure out what I had done. I.e had I changed my Hair, or was I wearing my Makeup differently?? LOL. I have since gone on to have my Eyes done, and have Fillers on a regular basis. My last Procedure was Laser Resurfacing, which Im am Absolutey 110 % thrilled with the result. im 50 yrs.old, and feel like I look 40 again. I cannot say enough about Dr. Waldman, and his Friendly and Attentive Staff.

After much lamenting, I made the decision to consult and proceed into the world of plastic surgery. I talked with friends, reviewed web sites,and read magazine articles on the subject. After much research I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Randolph Waldman in Lexington Kentucky. I found Dr. Waldman to be very knowledgeable, personable,and informed in the latest advancements in plastic surgery. Dr. Waldman and his staff took the time to educate and prepare me for the procedure I chose to proceed with. I am ecstatic to report that I am so happy with my decision. I have such a great feeling about how I look, very natural. He took years off my face. My experience has been the best I could ever have hoped for. I give Dr. Waldman and his staff four stars for giving me a new beginning in a middle aged life. Thank you Dr. Waldman!
