Dr. Steven Richard Weiner, MD

Dr. Weiner has a terrible bedside manner. He is abrupt and rude. He asks you a full medical history (even when you already filled all that out before seeing him) and then snaps "It is a simple yes or no answer" to a question that is not just yes/no. For example, "Do you limp?" The answer is, "Sometimes". He refuses to see shades of gray. He is also immensely overweight and I was afraid he would inhale the mask he was wearing with each breath.

Dr. Weiner has been treating me for osteoarthritis for over one year. He is especially kind and a great listener, giving me hope and encouragement to find solutions that work for me. I am very grateful that I was referred to him! His extensive experience and wealth of knowledge shows in the many options for treating me that we have explored. I always feel personally cared for, not just my diagnosis. His staff are also very personable and kind to each patient.

The staff at Dr.Weiner's office squeezed me in for an appt. Dr. Weiner was extremely professional, caring, and quite funney at times. He put me at ease. Answered all my questions. Explained fully my issuue, how to mend it, and prevent it from happening again.I left his office relieved, informed, and wishing that he was my primary physician. the staff was wonderful as well. Dr. Weiner has been very thorough in treating my RA. I was expecting immediate results from steroids but he advised me that they can take some time to kick in. As my condition improved he adjusted my medications so as not to expose me to long-term problems. He spends more time with me than any other doctor I have seen, and I've been to many. As with any physician, it is very important that you give as much detailed information to him as possible in order for him to accurately diagnose and treat your symptoms. Ask a lot of questions and let him educate you so that you can improve your condition as much as possible. His staff is also very courteous and professional.

I have been to a lot of drs without much improvement. My family dr recommended dr. weiner and I am so relieved I went to see him. Not only did he diagnose my problem, but he was very caring and took the time to explain and answer every question I had about my disease.As a lupus patient, not all drs have or take the time to work with the myriad complaints and complications, but Dr. Weiner did. He improved my well being greatly, and although it is not a curable disease, he manages my case better than any of the many drs I have seen in the last several years. I would highly recommend him to anyone -- very caring, and his staff is courteous and go out of their way to help. Great Dr.!!
