Dr. Steven Jay Weiss, MD

We have been to Dr. Weiss for eczema and allergies for our children. He was fine because he was nice enough and at first it was just mild eczema and seasonal allergies, nothing serious. He does take time to listen and take a good case history. However, when my child developed a food allergy, he did blood testing, had his nurse call me with results (that turned out to be a serious allergy). He posted the results on the portal on a Friday and the nurse didn't call until Tuesday. The nurse wasn't able to answer my questions, and he wasn't in the office. He had his nurse tell me if I had questions I needed to schedule a follow up appointment for a week later. In the meantime, he neglected to prescribe an epi pen as well. So I was left with a frightening life-threatening diagnosis for my child, with tons of questions, and a need for a potentially life-saving prescription that he couldn't be bothered to prescribe. Terrible experience.

Dr. Weiss is attentive and an active listener. His thoughtful and effective approach to patient care is sincerely appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him.

Dr. Weiss really listens to his patients and you do not feel rushed. And you get real help.

He is awesome with kids! I've never had my son who is terrified of doctors want to schedule a recheck before!
