Dr. Steven Kimble Woods, MD

He was the worst Dr I've ever been to. I've been to many Drs for several different things and he was by far the worst. His bed side manner was the worst, I myself work in the medical field and know how to treat a patient. He was not informative about any of my questions and was offended when I knew I was pregnant with twins before him. I switched to a different Dr two days after my surgery. I was in tremendous amounts of pain and asked for something else because the prescribed medication wasn't working and he flat out made me feel like garbage for asking. I will never recommend him to anyone. Even if he was the last Dr on earth id still rather deliver my baby myself.

He's certainly the best OB in the area I've been to. His staff genuinely care; they are friendly and attentive; and you always get the time you need to discuss your case. He respects your autonomy and choices (a rare physician quality). His apparent confidence is reassuring, and he is fairly receptive to concerns and questions without the typical "doctor ego." I haven't had a chance to ask him why some of his recommendations differ from ACOG's, but when you consider that only 1/3 of ACOG recommendations are based on strong evidence, Dr. Woods may have valid reasons for not following all of them exactly. Overall some qualities are above average, and some are okay. I would rate 3-4ish stars.
