Dr. Steven Daniel Zalla, DO

I watched him swear and cuss at a patient I mean what kind of doctor does that? This doctor also has no respect for those on disability he is rude, condescending and shows no real interest in a persons well being. Also, the building that he currently resides in is run down and the rooms are unsanitary, one room I was in literally smelled like urine. Please If any Beaumont doctors happen to read this take this doctor's license away he is a danger to his own patients.

This doctor doesn’t give referrals what kinda dr is he?he did return my copay he wanted to give me Motrin I can buy Motrin he didn’t even attempt to examine me I don’t see how he still has a practice ????

Dr. Zalla is the Best Doctor I've had in my life. He actually listens to me and is attentive every single time I see him. I've had so many doctors that do the bare minimum and make me feel as I'm just another chart to move along, but Dr. Zalla is completely different. He always asks questions to find out how I'm doing aside from what I'm there for. I feel like it's his intention to catch every single thing and do whatever he can to make sure I'm at my best. I also love the fact that I never have a long wait to be seen and never have trouble getting an appointment. I just can't say enough about how grateful I am to finally have a doctor I can trust, one that I feel really does care about my well-being. To top it off, he's so down to earth and he has the coolest nurses there. It's like visiting friends and one just happens to be a doctor lol. Thank You Dr. Zalla! iLYsm! - Kiaree

Dr. Zalla is a very good Dr. He can take one look at me and address any issue that I have. He is concerned about how I am doing in others areas of my life. He makes like family not just another patient.

I found this man to be highly condescending. He called me "Honey" at almost every appointment. During my final visit, he badmouthed another Physician in the general area. I found that very unprofessional. The posted office hours very unreliable. If you choose to see this Dr., I suggest you call prior to verify they're actually open.

I have tried calling this office so many times and have been unable to get a hold of anyone at all. The phone continues to ring and then goes to a normal voicemail, like a cell phone or just goes busy and disconnects. How is it that there is no one there to answer the phones during their posted and normal business hours??!!! Very disappointing. luckily for me it was not an emergency or an urgent matter that I was trying to get in touch with them. This has been an ongoing problem for over a week now... How this practice stays in business I will never understand.

It does not get any worse that Mr. Zalla. He is just a money grubbing, terrible person. He spent little time with me and gave me medication with no instruction and no warnings. I ended up with side effects and it did not even help my problem that was correctly diagnosed by another Doctor.

Fab eat experience I have had with a family doctor. Smart, kind and took the time to address each of my concerns.

I went in with my husband who is a 15 year insulin dependent Diabetic. His memory is not good and he forgets short term instructions. The Dr. asked me to leave the room along with a unprofessional remark. The result was my husband coming out with prescriptions he did not understand. He could not remember the Dr.'s instructions for a colonoscopy that was written out on prescription pad..I have never nor has any one I have spoken too had a Dr. make the spouse or significant partner leave the exam room. I am very disappointed in his professionalism. It took me 10 years to convince my husband he needed to see a Dr. and this is the treatment I received.
