Dr. Stewart Warren Lovelace

My daughter was a patient of Dr. Lovelace five years ago for several years. I cannot recommend him highly enough! He was never in a rush during her appointments, very personable and actually did therapy with her, he didn't just say hello how are you and push pills at her like the other two doctors did. She always had positive things to say about his care he took time and really listened. He was how doctors used to be, personable, took plenty of time in sessions, return phone calls the same day etc. I completely trusted my daughter in his care, he didn't rush to prescribe medication but took time to diagnose and do therapy with her. He ended up after a while prescribing just one medication at the lowest dose just to help ease her symptoms. If you or a loved one ever need a doctor, I highly recommend dr. Lovelace, very high degree of integrity and old school bedside manner, a doctor who actually takes the time to know his patients and carefully decide on treatment needed.

Dr. Lovelace is not the greatest when it comes to paperwork...however he is one of the very best psychiatrists I have ever had. He helped me through one of the most traumatic times of my life. He's a great listener, very empathetic, and smart.

I talked to Dr. Lovelace about some personal problems I had been having and was very satisfied with the care I received. He listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, seemed to really care about my situation, and was quite helpful with his advice. He doesn't "push pills", or seem rushed at all. His office is comfotable, with somewhat limited parking, but centrally located and easy to find.He does have a write up by the state board-I checked. It was for a paperwork snafu that hasn't been ironed out - not anything professional or criminal.He's a great, caring Doc, and I WOULD recommend him to friends and family if they needed a referral.
