I had been suffering through chronic UTI/bladder infections. General Practitioners would prescribe antibiotics. The infections kept returning. Finally in Dec 2003 they referred me to a Specialist, Urologist, Dr Stuart Chalfin. He ordered a workup of tests (CT scan, ultrasound, blood, etc). Results showed I had a tumor on my left kidney. Dr Chalfin removed the tumor Feb 2004. I am still here 15 years later. Thank you Dr Chalfin.

Great doctor, pays attention to details. Lady in front desk is very rude and disorganized. Gives you an appointment written on your card for 2:30 but on arriving she says “no they gave you the wrong time it is 3:00” then goes off saying “it will be a while, you will have to wait.” Eveytime I come in for an appointment she never even smiles but snaps back. Dont know what she is going through in life but I hope she does not take it out on others. I just wish her the best in life.

The wait time is out of control with this doctor! Why is it that we show up on time for the appointment and then have to wait over 30 minutes to see the doctor?

Dr. Chalfin is the only doctor I've ever had that has talked to me with compassion and patience, rather than trying to rush me out the door. He has answered all of my questions about procedures, physiology and medication without irritation or that attitude of "Just follow my orders without question, I'm the doctor". I've had some invasive testing done and he has been very sensitive to my comfort level.
