Dr. Stuart Floyd Hobbs, MD

This was one of the worst doctor appointments I have ever been to. He misdiagnosed my toddler, after taking less than two minutes to look at her and just dubbed it as bacterial infection and tried to shove unnecessary medication down her throat. He was very dismissive and looked bothered by all of my questions, and would not take the time to address my concerns with his diagnosis. After sleeping on it, I got a second opinion and turned out it was a very OBVIOUS different diagnosis that couldn't be treated with medication. I have never written a review on anything in my life, but could not let this one go. Do NOT waste your time, money or effort to go see this man, especially if you're the appointment right before his lunch hour. He won't be bothered to take the time for you anyways! Sutter is an overall good facility, but they really need to rethink this one.

I've been dealing with some health issues for 7+ years now and while many Dr.'s would give up and throw in the towel because there wasn't any easy answeres to my problems, Dr. Hobbs never gave up. He really cares about his patients; I always recommend him.

Dr. Hobbs was my doctor and I had to find a new doctor right away. When it came to colds or somthing small like that he was good, because that was the easy stuff or somthing. But when it came to the big stuff he was horrible. I feel like both him and his main nurse Jessica do not listen to you at all. I had some cysts on my ovaries and a pelvic infection at the same time and he wasnt gental when examining me and all he did was send me to the hospital to get some tests done and to have the hospital fax them back right away so he could review them and call me to give me the results. But did he give me a call back? no I called the office 4 or 5 days in a row to get the results before anyone would call me back. It turned out that I had to go get surgerie and you would think that the doctor, or at least the nurse would get back to me right away for somthing like that but no. And the front office girls are horrible to talk to. They are so rude and inconsederate and i feel like they just talk… down to you. I would not recomend this doctor to anyone, let alone the office if the other doctors are like that as well.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hobbs for over eight years, and I'm very pleased with my choice. He's caring, competent, personable, and responsive. I feel lucky to have him as my primary care physician.
