Dr. Stuart Allan Kossover, MD

This person has a terrible bedside manner. He was so condescending to me, a senior citizen no less. If he has a beef with big pharma I couldn’t be less interested in hearing his personal scree about it. I wanted to talk about my sickness.

Misdiagnosed me. I am also a provider. Now I have a bigger skin infection because he said my red, hot, and swollen x6 days skin lesion was “not infected”. Dismissed all my concerns and told me I did everything wrong. Requested my records from the visit and he lied in the progress notes.

At first he seemed pretty straightforward but his line of questioning about my illness seemed to not be related to my condition. He put me on medicine that didn’t help. I went elsewhere had a cat scan and correctly diagnosed at cone. My family and elderly paerents will not go back.

Yes he did wear his pants just a bit to tight, that has changed. No I disagree that he is dismissive and condescending. My wife has cerebral palsy and saw him as a primary care doc. when he was in high point (now in Clemons with Novant). This guy knows his stuff and explains things in a manner that you can understand clearly with out the large words and fluff that comes with his trade. Yes he used to say some things I would consider off the cuff and maybe not proper (this to has changed). Sadly with urgent care under Novant he is not allowed to have patience full time. He is one of the best we have run into over the years. Looking past the sometimes odd comments and tight pants (no longer a issue for some) he is top notch and we would have no issues putting our lives in his hands. We all learn from our mistakes, in my opinion he also took a lesson from life and fixed it. A+++

I'm sure he knows his stuff, but he says off-the-wall stuff and just seems very interested in talking about himself. Well dressed, but his pants are very tight and made my wife feel uncomfortable.

He is pretty condescending and if you ask what I think are intelligent questoins to help guide my care, Dr. Kossover pooh-pooh's them and is dismissive. I have seen him twice and am not impressed.

I was shocked by these reviews. This man is an excellent doctor. If one were to observe these reviews sagaciously, and juxtapose them with the reviews written on wakeforest.edu (composed by confirmed patients and collegues), it is quite obvious that these comments were submitted vindictively.

hes just a little paranoid about his height if you are taller. Overcompensation?

Very animated almost to a point of annoyance during the office visit. Seems very eager to please, but yet very shallow and lacks substance as a provider. We will go elsewhere.

Little Napolean with an attitude. He didn't like we researched our medical conditions and wanted to be treated based on what uptodate advises (yes patients can join this as well). Apparently "his expert" opinion is better than consensus statements in published guidelines. Pish.
