Dr. Subir Prasad, MD

Came in for many different issues, he barely let me speak or explain anything and rushed the whole appointment. When I tried to explain my symptoms and told him my pcp was suspect of ms he told me it sounded like ms but doesn't think it was and offered absolutely nothing else. Only got an mri because my pcp asked for one and afterwards he called and told me there was nothing but offered no more help or explanation. It was a completely pointless feeling visit and I don't think I've ever met a more dismissive doctor. Afterwards I look in the notes and he wrote that he thinks its all anxiety but my actual LISCENCED PSYCHOLOGIST disagrees.

Finally, a doctor that listed to me. Finally got some relief from my migraine headaches.

Dr Prasad didn’t even look at my charts that my doctor sent over. He kept insisting that I had migraines. When I came in there for fatigue and dizziness along with a headaches. I asked about my MRI and he looked confused because he never even looked at. That was the main reason why my doctor referred me. He then says “oh the fluid pockets on my brain were normal”. When the MRI showed I had lesions on my brain. He didn’t even address it. He prescribed me some medicine and said I was free to go and walked into another room with a patient. And when I looked up the medicine he prescribed me it was medicine for seizures. I don’t have seizures.

My mother went to see him for symptoms of ALS. He did an MRI and nothing else and told her she didn’t need to come back to see him again. Needless to say, we got a referral to a different neurologist who did testing and confirmed our suspicions of an ALS diagnosis. If we had trusted him or took him at his word, we wouldn’t have caught her diagnosis as early as we did. I would never recommend him to anyone. He’s going to cost someone their life one day. Worthless visit.

Placed me on medication and then REFUSED to refill it until another office visit was completed (i.e. cash in hand). The medication is Topamax, which is an anticonvulsant. Abruptly stopping this medication can cause seizures. This man's license should be pulled. Disgusting individual and office staff.

Dr Prasad is a great neurologist. After a year of severe symptoms, my dad was finally referred to Dr Prasad and within a week he was diagnosed correctly by Dr Prasad, referred to a great neurosurgeon and scheduled for the surgery that addressed his problem and likely saved his life.

Was seen on time and finally got relief for my headaches. Have seen a couple of primary care doctors for severe headaches that are keeping from working as much as I need to, and nothing was really helping me. Dr. Prasad has been able to help me get back to work and get back to being with my kids they way I want to. Really helpful.

Do not visit this doctor. He will prescribe you unnecessary medications, TON of them and at the end you wont be able to get life insurance. STAY AWAY!!!

Dr. Prasad was embarrassingly unprofessional. I would recommend finding another doctor! If there was a choice for negative stars, I would choose that because he does not deserve a poor ranking with even one star.
