DO NOT GO TO! FIND SOMEONE WITH MORE EXPERIENCE! Cost me over $2,000.00 in UNNECESSARY medical bills. I specifically told her and her staff that my private insurance had a large deductible, and to limit unnecessary costs if at all possible. During pregnancy, she ordered baseline blood work. Ok, that cost me $80 out-of-pocket, which I was happy to pay since it was necessary for the sake of my baby. Well, she forgot to check my thyroid levels because I have a family history of hypothyroidism. BUT she already knew that since it was in my chart before I had any blood work done. Well, because she forgot, I had to pay ANOTHEZR $80.00 out of pocket because she screwed up. Ok, so everyone makes mistakes. Then she ordered a very expensive procedure because my mother has mitral valve prolapse. Never had this procudre done with my first child, but she thought I needed it. I questioned her on this THREE different times, and aftrer she absolutely insisted, I gave in. Before getting this procedure… done, I asked if it would be covered by my insurance, which they said they checked and it would be. Well guess what? It wasn't! $2,000.00 out of pocket and when I went to have it done, the doctors (different than Dr. Suchada), did not understand why I was having it done in the first place ( which was exactly why I was questioning her all those times). So pretty much, Dr. Suchada did not know what the heck she was doing! Every doctor I spoke to afterwards said they would not have ordered that procedure unless my husband or I had a heart defect (which we did not!). So it gets better. When my insurance denied the entire claim because their physicians did not feel it was medically necessary, I asked her to write a letter stating why she felt it was medically necessary in attempt to appeal my insurance claim. SHE WROTE NOTHING! She didn't even know why she ordered the test! But who cares, she didn't have to pay that bill. Ok, so my fault for not checking with insurance company myself before the procedure. THEN she coded visits incorrectly, which resulted in me receiving even more bills that I shouldn't have received. Luckily, I was able to get one of those codes changed, and my bill was covered. My last complaint- I was seeing her for my second pregnancy. The OB/GYN I had for my first retired and she was the one that filled his spot. Anyways, I was in labor for 30mins with my first child....barely made it to the hospital. Second pregnancy- she was completely aware about my history for precipitous labor, yet she discarded this history and personal comments. After having my water break at home and no signs of contractions or active labor, I admitted myself to the hospital to start Pitocin (chemical that induces labor). This was at 10:30am. When Dr. Suchada finally came by around 11:00, I was experiencing mild contractions and was about 6 cm dilated. I told her that I would be having this baby within the next hour or two; however, she said "we will see" and that she would be back in 3 hours. At 12:14 my son was born. And guess what, no doctor in site! My son was delivered by a nurse! So all these bills and she pretty much did not do a thing! From start of my pregnancy to the finish, I was completely disappointed, dissatisfied, and robbed! Nurses were great, doctor not so much.
