Dr. Suchitha Reddy, MD

I went for my routine visit for my pregnancy, this doctor has no empathy and comes across as a judgmental human being. I don't understand how Kaiser could hire people like this, my suggestion is don't be a doctor if you cannot be an empathetic person. This doctor came into the room and asked me if I was planning on breast feeding, I said yes, she said well your iron levels are low and she said you need to consume more than just one iron pill. I explained to her that I spoke to the previous doctor and he suggested to consume 1 pill and substitute for food with iron and I would be fine. She was not happy with my answer, she then proceeded to check me and I had 2 more questions, she answered them and looked at my husband and myself in a judgmental way and said so, what is your plan for contraceptives. I told her I was not sure because I have to talk to my endocrinologist because I have a tumor that interferes with my hormones and I have to be on a specific hormone medication. She said… well, you can do the IUD but the way she said it was very forced and disregard my tumor concerns. Their is a way to explain things to patience and not just force what your thoughts are. Overall, never going to see this doctor and I already told my friends who have Kaiser my experience with this doctor.

She has been my obgyn for the past 10 Years. She did a surgery on my servix and after that she was with me through my two pregnancies. She made everything less stressful. Thank you Dr. Reddy.
