Dr. Sudama Maradani-Reddi, MD

The doctor seemed rushed, had not reviewed all my labs prior to my patient visit, and did not give clear explanation of her findings per a cumulative review of my symptoms, the additional test that she had requested, and the previous imaging testing I completed. My expectation as a patient is not that doctors know all the answers, but that they at least give the notion that they’re trying to find the answers and using *all* the resources available to do so. Additionally, my hope and expectation is that the answers provided make sense and address most of the concerns. I waited 2 months between visits. Let me say that again. I waited 2 months between visits. The doctor had 2 months to review all of the files that were provided in order to give me a clear analysis - and I was left disappointed by the lack of preparedness the doctor showed in the visit. Furthermore, her interaction with me felt dismissive/ cold, and it really disturbed me when I left. This is not acceptable. My hope is… that UT Southwest will hold this doctor to that higher standard and make strides to do better.

I no longer have insurance coverage due to Dr. Reddi. I went to see her on referral from my physician due to the sudden onset of severe neck pains. Dr. Reddi reported the condition to my insurance company as preexisting for over a year. This false report caused me to lose my insurance coverage. I went to her office to let her know that she had made a mistake in her report and her assistant informed me that she was too busy to talk with me. I followed up via telcom and was informed that Dr. Reddi would not correct her report. She claims that I told her the condition existed for over a year. I have never seen a doctor or received any treatment for this condition prior to the referral appointment to Dr. Reddi. Dr. Reddi has very poor communication skills. She speaks while I am attempting to describe my condition. The is most likely the reason that she made the mistake in her report. So, I have been without medical insurance coverage since Dr. Reddi sent the false report to my insurance… company. I would suggest for you to record 100% of your conversations with her if you are or intend to be a patient of Dr. Reddi. It might save your life.

I tried to sign up as a new patient, but today my appointment was rescheduled for the 4th time. The office would call me 30 min prior to the appointment and inform me that Dr. Reddi is not coming in today. I was already in the parking lot this morning. I finally gave up this morning and will go to another doctor

nothing but problems. Run, don't walk away
