Dr. Sudha Gopal Madabhushi, MD

I have been going to Dr for several years, I have heart disease, Diabetis and now I am in Renal failure. Dr never referred me to get my kidneys checked, it took my cardiologist to call me regarding a high potassium problems, in which she denied to see me, so I went to the hospital to get checked and found out from them I was in renal failure. I am so disapointed in her non conern over my health, she could see my labs done every three months and still did nothing to help me. So I do not recommend the Dr for anyone, who lets their patient go through this? Not a good Dr!!!

She has been my doctor for 8 years. Has been able to correctly diagnose my health issues and strives to find the correct procedures.

Front office receptionist very rude just want my last visit than I want return

This ‘doctor’ sadly misdiagnosed me and then, to make matters worse, wouldn’t discuss the matter with me. Instead, she took on a very defensive and unpleasant attitude. In fact, she was so uncomfortable that she told me she could not serve as my doctor! I have had lupus for about five years. Dr. Madabhushi was my new primary care physician and she sent me for labs. When they came back she said I didn’t have lupus (a dangerous, life-threatening disease). I was so happy and even threw away my lupus medication. Then I went to my regular 3-month checkup with my rheumatologist and told him how happy I was to no longer have lupus. He was shocked and told me there was no doubt I had lupus and that the labs Dr. Madabhushi ordered clearly showed this. He put me back on my medication but I was off of it for two months altogether thanks to Dr. Madabhushi, and that has caused irreversible damage. I found out since that lupus doesn’t go away. You have it until you die from an organ-related illness… such as kidney or heart disease. I of course have changed PCPs since and have also learned how to read my lab results myself. I am now extremely proactive with my healthcare and hope everyone else is too.

This doctor was the best I have seen in a longtime. I moved to Hemet 2002, I was not happy with any I had seen here, and chose a dr in another city. It was too incovenient to go so far, so I started my search again here. I read her information then today I had my first office visit. She was very pleasent and friendly.She answered ALL my questions. She even changed some medication back to ones I had before I moved here, such a great Doctor!
