Dr. Sudha R Sreenivasan, MD

I like her. She's well educated and understands the complexity of my specific issues. She is knowledgable of the medications as well as of the side effects. I was having a really strange side effect and she was able to explain it. Also she made sure that I had my medication when I couldn't find insurance coverage. If your expectations are different and you have severe mental illness most private doctors won't take you even if you pay cash. Private doctors only want to treat patients with a little light anxiety and write a prescription. There are some really bad doctors out there, but she's good. I drive 45 to go to Stamford over Danbury Hospital related systems because they are horrendous (that includes Norwalk Hospital).

Terrible! I was successfully treated for ADHD for many years before my doc left the practice and I was transferred to Dr. Sreenivasan. She immediately decreased my medication to 1/4 of my long time, THERAPEUTIC dose. Without it I can barely function. I can't think. I can't remember basic things. I get stuck in my own head, struggling to engage with family and friends. I lost a much-needed new job, after 5 yrs of no job, because I couldn't track all the info I needed to. Dr. S. refused to reinstate my therapeutic dose or to believe the tracking trouble was due to the low med dose. She clearly does not really know ADHD or how to medicate therapeutically. My wife wrote her a letter, full of references to relevant med dosing research & ADHD specialty docs prescribing the dose I had. Dr. S/ scoffed at the letter, saying she didn't have time to read it! She is more concerned about being sued for prescribing what she thinks is too high a dose, than my health and too lazy & uncaring to do her… homework and learn how to best help her pts. If you have a choice, run!

This Doctor is a horrible person, who needs to be check. She does not even reads up on her clients before seeing them. I don't think she even believes in GOD. With that being said, she's a devil worshiper!

She is the best their is. We connected from the very first appointment. I miss her since she moved to NYC and wish I could see her again.

Dr. Sreenivasan is a wonderful and caring doctor. I have been seeing her for a few years. Unfortunately, she is leaving her private practice for a change and she is moving to NYC. Sadly, she will be greatly missed!
