Dr. Sujan Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is an excellent doctor. As a family who has never dealt with allergies in the past, we were extremely anxious about our 9 month old's potential allergic reactions. Dr. Patel is thoughtful, patient and warm with both children and their parents. In his own words, his goal is for his patients to have as few restrictions as possible while staying healthy & safe. Never alarmist, he provides upfront information about the science of allergies and gives families practical steps for moving forward with a child with allergies. We talked about medical issues as well as lifestyle ones with respect to having a child with allergies which was quite comforting. He takes his time with his patients, explaining everything, and answering all questions thoughtfully and respectfully. You leave his visits with a print out of what was discussed, information, and tips for going forward. I enjoyed speaking with him, and I trust that he has our family's best health and interests at heart. I am… grateful to have met him and look forward to continuing our relationship with him. HIGHLY recommended.

Dr. Patel sat down with our family for nearly an hour to carefully review my son's medical history and explain years' worth of symptoms and possible mis-diagnoses in a manner that was thorough and clear. We feel very confident in his care.

I plan on seeing Dr. Patel on a regular basis for advice and for any allergy/intolerance related symptoms that need to be disabused. Dr. Patel is calm and analytical if you give him enough data and he'll ask the baseline questions and grow from there. If you really want to have a great appointment with him just open up and crack a few jokes. It might take a little to warm him up, but he's a lot of fun once a rapport is built, which for some might be a few visits, but for me we kicked it off on the 1st visit.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel for my one year old's food allergies since she was about six months old. He is amazing with kids (even fussy ones!) and really takes his time and answers all of my crazy neurotic mom questions and doesn't make me feel like I ask too many! He is also great with email, which is super important to me, as I often have follow up questions about different foods I am preparing for my daughter. I am so happy I found him. I honestly think I would go out of my mind dealing with her food allergies if I didn't have such an amazing allergist helping me through it! Would recommend him to anyone, especially for children with food allergies. His staff, Kristine and Chantel are extremely caring as well!

My Allergist Dr. Patel, is extremely thorough, and knowledgeable and takes his time with me during each appt. I have other Dr's and they seem to always be in a rush. I know they have other patients to see however, whenever I am rushed I forget to mention certain issues in regards to my illness. Other Dr's need to follow Dr. Patel's lead. I love those blue-eyes.

Dr. Patel, is the most Patient, Caring, Attentive, Doctor I have ever had. More Dr's need to follow his lead .

Simply the BEST doctor I have ever had. I regret ever going to dermatologists, they were a waste of time and money. Clearly a brilliant allergist is all you really need!
