Dr. Sujata Lakshmanan Iyer, MD

Sujata Iyer, M.D., F.A.A.P. grew up in Mumbai, India. She received her M.B.B.S. degree and completed her internship at Seth G. S. Medical College, Mumbai where she graduated with honors. She completed her pediatric residency at B.J. Wadia hospital for Children in Mumbai. She then completed her second residency in pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Iyer enjoys forming bonds with patients and their families. She gives importance to patient education and the preventive aspect of pediatrics. She speaks several Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Marathi and Gujarati.Dr. Iyer is married to Prashant Chandran who works as a portfolio manager. They have 2 sons, Rohan and Vishal . Dr. Iyer enjoys time with her family, travel and reading.
