Dr.Patel always takes the time to answer any of my concerns about my 4 children. Even when his office is busy as can be he does whatever he can to help and listen.

Doesn't even listen to the child just always says its a virus.

We love Dr. Patel. He is more than an excellent doctor. His manner and personality is always warm and welcoming, even when his waiting room is full! His diagnosis's have always been accurate and we have been seeing him for about five years.

I recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who searches for a pediatrician. He is the best!

Dr Patel is a very good doctor. He takes care of my kids so good. Kids like him a lot. Easy to get appointments. Very friendly.

I have been seeing Dr Patel since he took over the practice (something like 9 yrs). My husband and both of my teenage children see him too. He is a great doctor and a wonderful person. He cares for his patients well being as well as their health. If he thinks a specialist is needed he gives me names, numbers and will even have the nurse set up an appointment for me. One of my children is learning challenged. When my husband lost his job AND during the 90 days before his new job began medical coverage, he would only charge us every other visit. He's truly a good man.

While I never have any problems scheduling an appointment, I very rarely have a positive experience dealing with anyone BUT his main nurse (Melissa I believe). I have three children and am not the type of mom to rush in for any type of sniffle, but unfortunately everytime I have ever called with a question I am urged to make an appointment. After this morning I am officially searching for a new doctor! My oldest was seen and treated for a sinus infection. I took my toddler to the appointment, and asked for advice on OTC treatments for the young one's congestion. Doctor Patel was very helpful, BUT by the time I made it home my toddler was pulling his ears and running a fever. Obviously both kids were sick. I called the office to simply ask if they could write me another prescription for my younger child or if I needed to come back. A fairly simple yes or no question. I have had anyone be so rude to me!! First of all his receptionist said it depends on his insurance, then she said… we can't legally do anything without seeing him. Then she said oh he's a new patient since we haven't seem him since last year. I told her well it sounds like I need to bring him back. And she hung up on me! Apparently she felt like I was going to schedule it later! I have never had such a hard time getting a yes or no answer from anyone! My final complaint about this staff is with billing. My kids are currently on a waiting list for our state's CHIP program. We pay out of pocket for their visits. When I went to pay for this morning's appointment she (the doctor's receptionist) told me that the price would be $50 only if I could pay cash. If I paid any other way the total would be $85. I was dumbfounded! I am still having a hard time understanding why I would only get a discounted rate (that I had already discussed with Dr Patel), if I pay with cash. This sounds extremely shady to me. I hate to say negative things about this doctor. We've been seeing Dr. Patel for about a year and a half. He himself has always been very good with the children and does not push antibiotics for every little thing. Unfortunately I am to the point of needing a new pediatrician as I can no longer deal with his staff speaking to me as if I'm stupid. His receptionist is his wife so I have very little hope of things ever improving.

Knows his business and geniunely cares for patients. The way this community acts it doesnt deserve him.
