While at my appointment at Jacksonville Pediatric Associates and my previous RX in the system shows that patient is to take 2 pills for 30 days=60 pills per month. Dr. Patel made a mistake on a written Adderall RX whereas the RX stated to take1 pill but however actually it should have stated take 2 pills. I advised her of her mistake & she wrote over the number 1 to show 2. I advised her that the pharmacy will not accept the RX Dr Patel told me she would initial the change. I advised that I needed her to re-write the RX, she told me she had patients and I told her and I am one of them and still need assistance with this RX. She said she had already given me my time so go wait for an hour for her to re-write. I’ve never felt so disrespected and humiliated to the tune of not trying to feel discriminated by the color of my skin but Dr Patel was exhibited poor medical professionalism and more but I will keep my comments professional. I also will be sending info to AMA.
