Dr. Suketu Mohan Mansuria, MD

I found Dr. Suketu Mansuria during my research of endometriosis specialists in my area. I know that freak accidents happen and everyone’s experiences/opinions are different. That being said, I had a severe post-op complication that almost cost me my life. It is of my opinion that this complication was a direct result of incomplete care from Dr. Mansuria and his team. My surgery was at UPMC Passavant- Cranberry in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. There were several issues that occurred this day, but I almost lost my life due to an improperly closed incision site. I ended up staying 3 days in a different hospital, had 4 blood transfusions, and only heard “but they didn’t have to do another surgery, so it’s fine” from Dr. Mansuria over the phone as I was receiving blood transfusion 3/4. The surgeons at the hospital that saved my life told me that this complication was pretty common (for complications) and easily fixed. They thought Dr. Mansuria may have hoped that it would fix itself.

I had a laparoscopic excision of endometriosis recently and the care was excellent, the scarring is minimal, and I couldn’t recommend him more. He explained everything well and answered all my questions.

I’ve been going to him for a couple years now and he has done a few surgeries on me as well for endometriosis and he’s just amazing. He’s so nice and understanding too. He actually listens to you as well and knows exactly what he’s talking about. I love him to death and my experience with him has always been a great experience!

By far the best doctor I have had! He has helped so much with my endometriosis. The staff is caring, the aftercare in the hospital is amazing, he is very honest, he gives you options and he listens! I would 100% recommend him!!

dr mansuria is so compassionate and caring..I will never go anywhere else! he has done 2 of my surgeries and is phenomenial!

First visit. Was very very nice and explained everything and made sure I understood everything we had gone over about my upcoming surgical procedure.

He made me feel very at ease. Bedside manner is awesome. He is so down to earth and cares about his patients. I came through my surgery very well with very minimal pain post-op. I highly recommend Dr. Mansuria. His entire staff treated me well. They make you feel very comfortable.

Dr. Mansuria came highly recommended; however, as time has progressed waiting for my surgery I am having misgivings. He explicitly told me he preferred to perform my surgery at a particular facility and that the patient experience was better there as opposed to two other facilities he has privileges at. Three weeks prior to my surgery he has his scheduler, Patty, contact me to change to date of my surgery to occur within six days and to change the location. Perhaps if one is a VIP patient they receive the type of care and attention the other reviewers spoke of, unfortunately and sadly that has not been my experience. I feel like a part on an assembly line as opposed to a human patient.

Dr. Mansuria is the kindest, most compassionate, skilled and professional physician. I have been in health care for 30+ years and will definitely recommend him to peers. I am 3 weeks post op a total laparoscopic hysterectomy and am healing unbelievably well. The incisional sites are tiny and meticulous. Pain was so minimal. He is an awesome surgeon and took appropriate time to explain procedures and testing needs clearly. I was so very frightened to be sent to Pittsburgh for this second opinion and now I am so grateful that I went to him. May God bless him and his patient and caring staff:). He is an angel on earth:)
