Horrible! With a capital H! If he doesn’t feel like working with you, then he will make you suffer for it. He’s the doctor with the worst bedside manner I’ve ever had to endure. Him and his assistant, Tasha were so rude and condescending to me when I had to go back for a post surgery appointment. He was bitter because my original surgeon was out on a leave, and couldn’t remove my stitches, so Kaiser scheduled me with him. He didn’t want to deal with me because I wasn’t HiS patient. So he thought it was ok to take his frustration out on me. He was very rough, and I naturally had a hard time trying to keep my eye open. He kept yelling at me, AND squeezing my forehead. So unnecessary. He’s the WORST doctor there is! If you ever need a oculoplastics surgery done at Kaiser in Sacramento, please oh please avoid him at all costs! You have been warned.

Dr Johl did the most fantastic job on my eye surgery in August 2017. I had a torn tear duct from an accident. My eye was in terrible shape and he repaired and it is just perfect. You would never know I had any eye injury. I highly recommend him.
