Dr. Suma Dronavalli, MD

Went to see Dr D as I saw she was affiliated with Emory. She was very dismissive towards my son and only assumed his symptoms weee from any meds he was taking (not accurate). She asked why he wasn’t seeing a previous endocrinologist that we saw. Why is she questioning us getting second opinion? Made us feel like we were wasting her time. No bedside manner. Can’t understand how she received any good reviews. Skip her and do your research on a respectful MD.

DR. Dronavilli is the most intelligent and went to best schools. She is very caring and professional. I don’t understand why she don’t have all 5 ratings. I’m amazed at her skills. I’m willing to go all the way to Midtown to still use her as my physician. She has made me more confident in doctors.

I was seeing her for 3 years and she had misdiagnosed me and was going to have me have surgery that was not needed at all

I think Dr Dronavelli is an excellent physician. She is very knowledgeable and low key. I like her bedside manner. The amount of time she spends with me is average considering that most doctors today do not spend as much time with each patient.

DOCTOR DRONAVALLI MUST HAVE RUN THE WRONG BLOOD TEST, OR MISREAD RESULTS. CALLED AND SAID WAS PERFECTLY FINE, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF NORMAL RANGE. 5 DAYS LATER WENT INTO ADRENAL CRISIS..STOPPED BREATHING, TAKEN BY AMBULANCE..2 DAYS LATER, DX WITH 'ADDISONS' (ADRENAL INSUFFICIENCY). DOCTOR WAS CURT..SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT WHEN SHE SAID I DON'T THINK I CAN HELP YOU. LESSON LEARNED.

I saw Dr. Dronavalli. She was nice but had never heard of my endocrine disorder and said I should "dismiss anything to do with that as I have ever heard of it." If she would take the time to do an online search for the disorder she would see that it exists and should have been covered in her schooling. I will not be returning
