Dr. Sumana Gavva Reddy, DO

Dr. Reddy is such an amazing doctor! As a patient, it was so important for me to know and feel that my doctor "genuinely" cares about what I am expressing during my office visits. Dr. Reddy is definitely the doctor that takes the time needed to discuss the medical approach that works best for her patients. She listens to your concerns and invites you, the patient to get involved in the decisions regarding your health needs. In other words, your concerns about what is going on in your body are important to her!!

I was specifically looking for a D.O near the Atlanta area and found Dr. Reddy. My experience with her has been fantastic. I always appreciate a doctor who is knowledgeable, forthright and to the point. Highly recommend her!

mentioned side effects to the medication but would not listen, told me there were no side effects and my issue had nothing to do with the thyroid. Was not talking about the thyroid was talking about the medication and dose not acknowledge there are side effects to the medication. Does not contact patient with results of tests and nothing on the patient portal site either. Don't recommend this Dr.

Dr. Reddy has been nothing but a fantastic doctor. I have been a patient for almost 2 years now and have both graves and Hashimoto's. She listens and is open to understanding my concerns. I'm glad I found her

I went to her with an array of symptoms. She ran some tests. Said that the tests were normal and that she could not help me. She said I should go to another specialist. 2 visits, what a waste of money. The lab tech could have done that.

Dr Reddy is wonderful. She quickly helped me get my sugar under control. She did the same with my husband. I highly recommend her!!

I went to Dr. Reddy after having a horrible experience with another endocrinologist. I had a goiter and 6nodules on my thyroid. Shelistened to everything and as an experienced DO that treats the entire body, she finally said what I had hoped to hear-I could get my thyroid removed since the nodules would just grow over time. Shedid her own ultrasound and found something the other doctor didn't. I had my thyroid removed after she referred me to a fantastic doctor Dr. Winger. Not only did they discover I had Hashimotos disease, I also had thyroid cancer, something my grandmother had died from. She had listened and helped adjust my thyroid hormone accordingly as needed and been wonderful with follow up. I would recommend her to anyone struggling. She's also helping me with diabetes that she discovered as well!

She is a medical assistance who did not follow up with routines for me and monitored blood pressure and lab work. Nevertheless, I was overly medicated with metformin and insulin.

Arrogant, dismissive and totally not concerned with my needs.

She's not an MD. DOs are primarily basic primary physicians. So I'm not sure how she got to be considered for endocrinology. Looking back, it seems she didn't do anything because she didn't know what to do. I'd advise anyone to choose another doctor and another clinic.
