Dr. Sumant Rawat, MD

I went for nerve testing. The tech was nice and professional. Dr. Rawat stuck needles into my muscles with minimal pain. No problems at all.

Known fact I have carpal tunnel. I was sent to him to get checked again so that my new doctors would have it for their records since we're having trouble with transferring medical records from my old doctors. Before he came in his nurse stated she was having issues with the machine not wanting to work properly . He told me I did not have the carpal tunnel that I in fact do have and mentioned getting checked for tendinitis or lupus. I don't know if it was his equipment, if it was on his own part or if it was both but, I won't be going back and I will be seeing another neruologist.

Horrible service , staff was friendly

Went to his office just yesterday for nerve testing. He was straight and to the point and that is perfectly fine with me. He was quick and efficient with the process and I was out the door. His aid was super friendly and we had a nice chat! I would recommend him.

Dr. Rawat is possibly the best Dr ever. as a child I was diagnosed with Rassmusens syndrome and he is my life saver. without his diagnosis I may have a different life altogether. my life was saved and I now have lived a full life with a wife, son and successful career. Dr rawat is a God send and I have full respect and love for his knowledge and experience. If he or his staff ever see this post I would like to say thank you. I would not have my life and family with out him. Again Thank You.

Dr. Rawat is rude, doesn't listen to his patients and barely even bothers to look at your test results. I saw him after lesions were found in my brain, indicative of MS, and he started out by ordering a spinal tap and a vision test. Well, the spinal tap didn't show exactly what he was looking for so he chose to ignore the high protein levels which were flagged and indicated infection. I found out later from another neurologist that I was very lucky the infection didn't do more damage after being ignored like that. He also had me get another MRI and told me to bring him the results then got mad when I had it done at another location and brought in the disc to show him along with the radiology report instead of a radiology comparison. I had no idea I was supposed to have it done at the same place, especially since he and his staff never mentioned it. He was so rude about it and instead of even looking at the scan told me I had MS and started rattling of medicine to take. Come to find out… later that the scans actually didn't change from the first to second MRI and I actually could not be clinically diagnosed with MS yet. The neurologist I found in Denver said it would have been very dangerous for me to be on that medicine if I didn't need it. I would not recommend him.

I eventually was diagnosed with CIDP. This was in Nebraska. After being told their was nothing to be done, it was a relief to know there was some hope. Albeit maybe too late. I am getting IVIG tx's and praying for the best. I am limited to using walker currently and very near the wheelchair stage.

Arrogant, condescending doctor with little concern for privacy of patient.

I've been Dr. Rawat's patient for many years and am so pleased with the treatment I receive. He is very professional and doesn't baby me, which is good, he will tell it like it is. He makes me do as much as I can but knows when I have done my best to improve my condition. The staff is amazing and makes going to a doctor enjoyable.

Office staff was rude and couldn't care less about my concerns. When I stood my ground, It was implied I find another neurologist. Happy to do just that!
