Dr. Sumeesh Dhawan, MD

Was my PCP for 5 years and dropped me as a client without notice, knowing it would take another month to for my insurance to find another PCP. I was without critical meds for over a month. Im 70 yearss old and need critical medications to stay alive. He gives me my script every month until all of a sudden without notice I'm no longer his patient. There was no transition or reason.

He is very caring and the office staff/nurses are great as well. Follow up is wonderful and they are always willing to work you in if needed.

He is very caring, knowledgeable and responsive. He explains things in terms "real" people can understand. The office will work you in if need be. I had seen the same doctor for quite some time and was unsure of seeing a new physician. Dr Dhawan worked with me to overcome that and then some. Love him!

I think he took real good care of me. He let me know that I could contact him whenever I had any problems. Gave me suggestions about my medication. I think he is a very good doctor .

I left my previous doctor because I felt he was just not really paying attenton to my history and treatment. I was on five different medications and at no time did he carefully check the lab reports to see there needed to be a change. He never went over the lab reports with me, I never received a copy of my lab report even though I was told that I would get a copy. The office staff was courteous but not helpful. Information was "lost" out of my file and I still have not received a copy of my file. I went to Dr. Dhawan and have been really happy. He takes time to go over lab work and discuss any questions I might have and discuss thoroughly any changes in medication I might have. He saved a friend of mine from further medical problems because the doctor put him on a medication that had an additional drug in it that he could not have known about that could have caused him serious problems. Dr. Dhawan takes the time to review each medication if new. His office staff is great… and they all are friendly and will take time to answer any questions. The office wait time has been less than 10 minutes each time I have been. I used to wait up to 45 minutes to an hour at my previous doctor's office. I totally trust Dr. Dhawan and his staff. It is great having a doctor that you can rely on and an office staff including the nurse that will call you back if you have any questions or concerns.

Dr. Dhawan is the worst physician I have ever encountered. He was the physician for my daughter and he has an awful disposition, he was rude, uncaring and distant is just a few words to describe him. My daughter's case was critical and when he could not determine what was wrong, he started guessing and discharged her even though she was still in pain. Please stay away from him if you care about your family. When I challenged his decisions he was rude and told me just because I want test ran does not mean that he has to do it. The story is too long to tell about what happened next, but the medical board will be hearing from me.
