Dr. Sumeet Garg, MD

My Child went into surgery due with a broken elbow. He came out of surgery with a broken elbow, although half repaired. He has had to have a corrective surgery and over 6 month of physical therapy over an oversight during surgery. He still does not have full motion of his dominant arm and has been through a ton of non necessary pain. Dr Garg was very confident with his decisions on a surgery that was too complex and should have been completed by an upper arm/fracture specialist in the first place. He did have the decency to pass us off to another surgeon AFTER THE FACT who could handle the case attempting to fix the mess that was created. He should have stepped off the case when he knew it was too complicated for him instead of making my child suffer.

Dr. Garg performed a scoliosis surgery on our daughter two years ago and has done an excellent job. After our initial visit to Dr. Garg to discuss the various options, our daughter put her trust in Dr. Garg because she felt the most comfortable with him (we also visited another surgeon for a 2nd opinion). He was able to straighten out the spine to almost 95%, which was better then we all hoped. We highly recommend Dr. Garg!
