Dr. Summer Scavone, MD

Dr. Scavone is among my favorites of doctors I have ever seen. She is fast to process information, caring, simultaneously straight forward and kind, and was willing to make lots of suggestions toward helping my issues even when things were unclear.

Explaining every concerns at most, listening to my concerns was also at most that I had from the physician. Thanks

My experience with this doctor completely alienated me from pursuing care at the clinic she worked at. She was dismissive and condescending to my concerns, overstepped boundaries and refused to look at peer reviewed articles I brought in supporting the diagnosis I'd gotten years before from a specialist in the field, as she believed it was "just unlikely" it was a correct dianosis. She was obviously annoyed that I chose to not continue my primary care there after she refused to continue the prescription for said diagnosis that I'd been on for years at that point. I've never been treated like such a small part of my own medical treatment.... Of the providers I've had myself and worked with while taking care of family members, skavone is by far the worst.

She put on my medical record that I was pregnant and I was having problems stopping smoking ecigarette. I have not been pregnant in 37 yrs and it was a miscarriage. I have never in life smoked an ecigarette. She was upset w/ me for missing an appt at Swedish First Hill. She no longer works there. But she is scary and if you kiss an appt she will treat you bad and also have other doctors to treat you mean just like she did me.
