Dr. Sun Kim Scolieri, MD

I'm a patient at WHS 1/25/25 , i just had the displeasure of meeting DR. Scolieri, immediately after she entered the room, she was cold and misinformed. She informed me that she could not do the heart Cauterization that was scheduled due to my size (I'm 485lbs). Conveniently my weight is posted on the board in my room (and in my chart). Something I would assume a doctor would look over before rendering medical advice. Dr Scolieri proceeded to tell me that since I'm over 500lbs the Heart Cath was not possible and that she doesn't believe that any hospital in the area can do the procedure further affirming that she didn't even look at the chart. I'm completely ok with being judged for my size but to misjudge a patient on false information is a sad mistake on her part. She quickly dismissed the quantity of work that I actually do (I have 70 animals on our farm). I could of easily berated her about her inability to read charts or do basic math kilos-lbs. . . like she berated me. She made… it clear she had no interest in helping me.

Dr Scolieri is by far the best Dr I have ever had the pleasure of having to visit I actually look forward to seeing her

Dr. Sun Scolieri has been my Dr. for at least 2 yr. I like her professional approach with the patient and her thoroughness in reviewing the blood work ; patient's input and current meds. Very thorough Dr.

It's too bad she asked my dad if he wanted surgery or go on medication after he was already sedated. He would have never gone for the surgery! NEVERY! She did not consult with the family. She forged forward without the knowledge or experience with what was best. She decided on my dad's fate. Today my dad would be celebrating his birthday surrounded by his children.

Dr. Scolieri's poor medical judgement resulted in a very grave outcome for my husband. Proceed with caution!
