Dr. Sunanta L Ober, MD

It's been a while since we visited Dr. Ober. She was my sons' pediatrician until we moved. She always was excellent and made you feel comfortable during the visits. Waiting to see her was the only downside.

caring doctor - may have to wait - but worth it

Dr. Ober is great!, but the receptionist was worst that I have ever met. I called the office, she picked up the phone, and asked me to hold, and she purposely holding the phone, but did not answer, then I called again, she did the same thing. I was surprised to see that what kind of service she is providing for patients!

This doctor recommends practices that are well-known to be unsafe, like diluting baby formula and letting newborns cry instead of feeding them appropriately. I cannot urge you strongly enough as a medical professional to find another doctor, particularly if you are a breastfeeding mom. Dr. Ober's lack of knowledge around breastfeeding and infant care are completely astonishing.

Dr. Ober is a truly fantastic doctor. The long waits to see her are because she will spend the time she needs with her patients (and parents). If you are in a rush, she is not the doctor for you. My children have no fear of shots or any other procedure because of careful care. She has called us at home to make sure that our daughter is okay. I highly recommend Dr Ober.

Yes sometimes you wait more than other times but what doctors office doesn't make you wait. One of the best doctors I have dealt with and also she is the most down to earth and caring person I have ever introduced to my children! The benefits outweigh the negatives astronomically! She will answer all your questions and concerns, couldn't be happier!!!

wait time is so long (2 hrs +) i waited to take my kids in many times. Dr Ober will spend time with you, but is not very effective with difficult diagnosis and does not work well with drs she does not refer to. lack of follow through.

She is absolutely the most thorough, caring doctor we've had. Wouldn't entrust the care of my children to anyone else!

I work at another healthcare facility and tried to get medical records for a single mother who has 5 children....4 of whom were sick. One is downs and this Dr. will not release their medical records because she wants $20 per child to process them!!!! Even to another Dr who is willing to care for these children. Her staff didn't know her name the two times I called, and I was hung up on once. Her staff was asked to please reason with her due to this mothers lack of funds....THE ANSWER WAS NO. Then we asked if she would be willing to release the one child's records with downs.....Her staffs response was that the Dr would not release one child's records....the whole family would have to go at once. It was disgusting to see this mother beg us to help her get care with specialists for her daughter. All I have to say is Dr. Ober is a vicious human being who is only out for a dollar!!!!
