Dr. Suneetha Budampati brings years of experience in interventional pain medicine to National Spine & Pain Centers. Prior to her arrival, she practiced in suburban Maryland after completing advanced fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Budampati was introduced to medicine by her physician parents. Throughout her childhood, she observed their experiences dealing with the challenges and rewards of their work. This ultimately influenced her decision to become a doctor.Dr. Budampati’s decision to specialize in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for residency training was fostered by an unwavering desire to help improve people’s functional health and quality of life. Subsequently, during her fellowship training, she advanced her skills in Interventional Pain Management and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Her expertise includes fluoroscopic-guided spinal injections, percutaneous intradiscal therapies, neurostimulation, radiofrequency neurotomy and …percutaneous vertebroplasty.Dr. Budampati is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management. She maintains active memberships in the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the International Spine Intervention Society, the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.An advocate for strong doctor-patient relationships, Dr. Budampati consistently tries to achieve successful results by dialoguing openly with patients to fully appreciate their expectations and to keep them informed and actively engaged in establishing their treatment and rehabilitation program.During her leisure time, Dr. Budampati enjoys singing Southern Indian Classical music and can also be found riding the scenic parkways in Virginia on her motorcycle, a hobby she shares with her husband. She is an avid certified scuba diver and bicycle rider. She is enjoying pursuing these interests along with her children as they get older. Multilingual, Dr. Budampati is fluent in Telugu, Hindi, and Urdu.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Budampati. She was callous and hostile and make several extremely hurtful comments. I am very glad that I was able to transfer my care to another doctor who treats me with respect.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! She is a horrible! She leaves you waiting on the hard, unpadded procedure table for over an hour. You finally hear her voice in the hallway outside and think she's coming only to wait another 15-20 minutes. When she finally comes in to do the procedure, she is rough and uncaring. I have never been treated in such a manner by any other healthcare provider.

My quality of life has improved very much since I have received treatment from Dr. B. who is a wonderful doctor. The various procedures, prescriptions, and recommendations have my mobility tending upward instead of spiraling rapidly downward as it was before because of improving pain levels. The entire staff is courteous, professional and attentive. I am very grateful. J Bralove

Dr. "B" is the most incompetent and rude doctor I've ever had the displeasure to see. There is no physical exam... There is no history taken and she asks no questions. Her only focus is on the medications that your previous doctor prescribed. She cares less about your pain and constantly pushes you to have procedures done. She believes that if you can drive to your appointment or go to the grocery store then you are not disabled. She needs to read the Disability Act. We're not in India. I would recommend this doctor go back to school and learn how to do a consultation. She's going to hurt someone by ignoring ones history or physical condition. I would not recommend her!
