Dr. Sunil Gopal Bhandarkar, MD

Dr. Bandikar has been my optomologist for over 10 years since he took over the practice from Dr. Corbin. A very through doctor. He recently performed cataract surgery for both my eyes. It went very well. I would highly recommend him as a doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Sunil G. Bhandarkar is an excellent ophthalmic surgeon — my wife and I have been his patients for 12 years. We both had successful cataract surgeries under his care. Recently, I had two eye emergencies in May 2025, and I was treated promptly and professionally. The staff is courteous, efficient, and always respectful. English, Spanish, and Tagalog are spoken, making communication easy and welcoming.

Dr. Bhandarkar is amazing! His staff, especially his main assistant is very annoying. Apparently she was left behind by the Doctor who sold his practice to Dr. Bhandarkar and does not get along with her new Boss. Two co-workers and I have had to listen to her "whoa stories" about how Dr. B doesn't like her and thinks she is stupid. Making us all very uncomfortable. We will all return to Dr. B, because he is so professional and easy going. Just wish his assistant would shut her mouth and keep things professional!

I found this doctor online in an emergency. My puppy had scratched my eye by accident and i was in severe pain and could hardly see. The doctor had to patch my eye shut. By the next day I was better and my eye healed in a couple more days!

i had a very severe eyelid infection. the doctor and staff were great, they took me in as an add on. the doctor was great and gave me some antibiotics and i got better within 3 days. we did a quick followup and i was healed! definitely reccommend.
