Dr. Sunil Kamatam Reddy, MD

My mother, who is 90, saw Dr. Reddy. Because of the nature of the exam, I was not in the room with her but was assured by the nurse that the Dr. would speak with me once complete. When she came out of the room, the Dr. was busy and unable to speak with me. My mother did not have all of the information about his procedure or plan for future care. The nurse told me to call. I called within a week and was told by Patty, a curt person in his office that I could schedule an in-office visit to talk to the Dr. because they do not schedule phone conversations. She said I should have been with my mother for the appointment -- which I was!! I left a message for Dr. Reddy but she did not know when next week he would call back, if at all. This is not good patient care. Aside from the unfortunate phone call with an unhappy employee, I would expect flexibility and a desire to help a patient. My mom is 90 and requires assistance. I will updte the information in this review in the future.

I like dr reddy he is very nice

I saw him in 2010 and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis after I had a colonoscopy performed. He didn't say but 2 words to me when I was in the recovery room. Didn't explain what was wrong with me and didn't even ask for a follow up appointment. I did all the research on it on my own. For 2 yrs I lived with immense amounts of stress thinking I had this incurable disease. It is now 2012 and I have a new and much better GI Dr in San Antonio, TX. Unfortunately though my new doctpr doesn't want to give me a complete diagnoses until he receives my medical records from Dr. Reddy's office. Because according to my recent EGD/Colonoscopy I show no signs of UC or even ever having it. And Dr. Reddy's offices has been contacted by myself, my primary care physician, and my GI dr about my records and they refuse to send them! So now I'm stuck in Limbo with horrible Dr and his horrible staff! NEVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR! MISDIAGNOSES, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND NO BEDSIDE MANNER!!!!!!!
