Dr. Sunit Hemant Patel, MD

Dr. Patel literally--and I mean literally--spends the entire appointment talking about his own kids. He shows zero interest in our child and doesn't even try to pretend as if he cares about their well-being. He just babbles on and on about how great his daughter is doing at school and how much his son likes video games. We didn't come there to learn about you and your family, Dr. Patel! We came to make sure our own child is healthy! The first time we thought maybe his disinterest was an isolated experience and gave him another shot... but the second time was just like the first. We don't have any real sense of our child's growth, as Dr. Patel didn't even answer the questions we asked, instead trailing off on other non-related subjects. I get that he likes the amount of money that he makes but at least pretend like that's not the only reason you're a pediatrician. Your focus should be on the children you're seeing! That's your job! If you have a choice--and in the North Country,… choice is obviously limited--, definitely go to somebody else for the sake of your child. We won't be giving Dr. Patel a third chance, that's for sure.

I really don't understand how you can have an appointment time and they act if you have nothing else planned. The excessive wait with no explanation is unacceptable. Staff just makes you sit there.. argh..... Not Good Not acceptable
