We have been seeing Shady Groves's Fertility Clinic for about six months. When we originally came in it was due to my wife having irregular periods and ovulation cycles. After six months, about a dozen tests, and a lot of money, we have found nothing. We have become so frustrated that we are now requesting a second appointment with the doctor and telling her we need pills to.help her ovulate. We should have started this six months ago when we knew it was a problem, but she wanted to run lots of expensive tests in case there was a second problem. I'm a believer in solving the cheap problem at hand instead of a lot of expensive options to find a problem that may or may not exist. Now that we are requesting treatment from them, they require more blood work and tests. Did they think we originally went to Shady Grove for lots of tests, but leave the treatment? I don't know why they're just telling us about this now. It has been extremely difficult to get in touch with the doctor.

Dr. K was not only a wonderful doctor but also provided a great deal of comfort and understanding in an otherwise very stressful process. I would recommend her to anyone pursuing (or considering pursuing) fertility treatment.

Dr. K and the whole staff at Shady Grove are the most caring and professional medical staff I have ever seen. People come to them at a time when they are very vulnerable, sad, frustrated and I was no exception. They offered me realistic hope, a timeline and lots of options. After any procedures they would call to follow up for the next few days. Dr. K is so sweet and makes you feel special and that your concerns are her concerns. She wants success for you and will do anything for that. I wish she could be my every day doctor.

Nothing bad to say about Dr. K or SGF. From our first appointment we felt at ease with Dr. K. The personal nurses will call you with results and help you with the next phase of your treatment plan. Dr. K spends so much one-on-one time with you, too, and makes sure all of your questions are answered. She is so sweet and knowledgeable and I truly felt like she cared about my husband and I and wanted to see us conceive, and not just keep going there to pay them. I know it's not the easiest appointment to make and it comes with a lot of emotions, but you shouldn't have any reservations about Dr. K or SGF. They will take care of you.
