Dr. Sunita Sharan, MD

Dr. Sharan has been my doctor for 14 years and has treated me like her own child. I was able to have 2 really successful healthy pregnancies after suffering conditions that made my chances slim. She has always explained clearly what the consequences of my choices were so I could make an educated decision. She was an all around doctor who considered my other medical conditions as well.

I have been going to Dr Sharan for about 5 years. I absolutely would recommend her to any women. She is very caring. She helped me lose 30 lbs and helped me keep the weight off. She understands you and helps you reach your weight loss goals! Very happy to have met her and happy to have her as my doctor!

Dr Sharan provided thorough care with a bedside manner that put me at ease. She listened to the details of my medical situation with a heartfelt patient ear. Her office scheduled appts. for me within 24 hrs when I expressed I was having health difficuties and returned all my calls in an above and beyond timely fashion. I trust her knowledge and her care.

Dr Sharan is one of the most genuine physicians I have ever met. Her knowledge and experience are only a part of what makes her a highly qualified and caring gynecologist. She takes the time to listen to any concerns and is truly open to discuss options to address those concerns. I would recommend Dr Sharan to anyone looking to find a truly qualified and caring doctor.

Most dr's in Colorado could not identify my issues or make up to date recommendations on the latest treatment options. Others may have left a bad review but in my experience of drs for the past 30 years, she is much more QUALIFIED and makes decisions in the best interest of the patient. A rare fine of a physician. Trish is an outstanding office manager as well.

I recently relocated to the Sarasota area and am happy to have found Dr. Sharan. She is a very thorough and enthusiastic physician. She is warm and caring and her personal bedside manner makes you feel in very good hands right from the beginning. Her office assistant, Trish, is always approachable, reachable and responsive.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A DOCTOR WHO IS SO CARING AND INTELLIGENT. I HAD AN ON GOING PROBLEM THAT I WAS TOLD NEEDED EXTENSIVE MEASURES, BY A REPUTABLE OBGYN. BUT NO DIANOSIS TO WHY I NEEDED THIS. I HAVE BEEN TO SEE HER 3 TIMES AND SHE HAS PRETTY MUCH DIAGNOISED MY PROBLEM AND TREATED MOST OF IT. WITH NO DRASTIC MEASURES. THE OFFICE IS NOT POSH BUT THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE CARE FROM HER AND HER STAFF IS BY FAR BETTER THAN MOST. GIVE ME KNOWLEDGE AND CARE ANYDAY. THANK YOU THANK YOU DR SHARAN.

I made the first appointment due to this office taking my insurance. She saw me twice within a couple of weeks and was ready to do outpatient surgery. There was no step-approach to my issues. I felt pushed into an out patient procedure and after the fact her office never called to make sure that I was ok or needed anything else. I did have trouble getting through to them and my call went to a cellphone mailbox that was full! The unconventional office is dirty in the waiting room and in the exam rooms.

Just a crazy, crazy experience I had with this doctor. Absolutely unreal! Feel I am lucky to be alive after the nightmare with her and my surgery. Was even shocked to see that she is still practicing. Wow.

Dr. Sharan is an Angel in Disguise. She diagnosed my problem on my first visit that four other specialists failed to do. My gratitude to her is boundless. Thank you, Dr. Sharan, with my whole heart.
