Dr. Sunitha Chacko Alexander, MD

Dr. Alexander is professional, caring and trustworthy. Very content with her service not only for me but for relatives that I’ve send to her. She’s truly a blessing!

I am sick (maybe with the virus) and Dr. Alexander wanted me to come into her office just to see her so she could send a script for anxiety meds which she will send to Walgreens. I told her no I wasn't coming in because I was sick and had been for 2 weeks and didn't want to get anyone sick or me worse. Plus the President, Governor, County Judge and Houston Mayor and Texas Health Department said GO NO WHERE if you are sick. I am complying with those rules and being punished because she fired me as a patient and is making me get a new doctor to get my anxiety pills which SHE KNOWS I CAN"T DO because I am still sick and now Houston and Harris County (where I could be tested) has a shelter in place order so I couldn't get tested if I wanted to. And here in Montgomery County they have NO testing sites and have done NOTHING regarding the virus. I have brain damage, mental and emotional disorders and she is holding that against me because I said the F word (which I can't help because… most people with brain damage cuss and we can't help it; its our brain that is damaged; where is the compassion or understanding as a doctor to DO NO HARM). She should give me 3 months worth of scripts at least and not force me to come in her office instead of firing me as a patient. She should loose her medical license and I am filing a formal complaint with Memorial Herman (who does nothing to their doctors that treat their patients poorly; another problem) but also with the Texas Medical Board and anywhere and everywhere I can. She is putting my life and others at risk and violating the Federal Disabilities Act.

They gave us appointment saying that they take our insurance. We waited one week for the appointment. I confirmed one day before the appointment as well and they said yes everything is fine. We get to the appointment time and the lady tells us that they don't take our appointment anymore. Please be careful when you make appointments with Dr. Alexander office. Extremely bad staff and unprofessional.

No sugar coating tells is like it is very personable passionate about her work wouldn’t see anyone else

Called the office to make an appt form my self and my daughter with Dr. C, as he was my previous physician at Sadler Clinic prior to closing their doors. I requested the new patient forms to be sent to my email address. 1 week prior to my appt, i noticed the forms had not been received. Called the office to have them sent again, i was informed my appt was NOT with Dr. C, but with Dr Alexander. I was not happy, as i was expecting to see Dr C for this date and time that was taken off from work. The appt was "ok" and Dr. seemed nice. At the end of the visit i was told our medications would be sent to my pharmacy electronically. 2 hours passed and no call from CVS that my prescription was ready. I called and was told it needed a prior authorization and the office had been contacted an hour prior to my call. After keeping contact with CVS all that afternoon, i was told they have not heard back from the office, and a second request was sent to them. This was on a Thursday afternoon.… Called the office Friday mid morning, for an answer on the PA for the meds the Dr wanted me to start immediately, i was told i would get a call back. In my efforts to contact CVS, i was again advised they sent the request a 3rd time to the office, and still no reply. i received a message from the nurse at 4:15 that a prior auth is needed and she would be working on it. unbeknownst to them i am fully aware of the operations of a medical office, due to my current work position. this is a Friday afternoon at 4:15 and a holiday weekend, and the office would be closed on Monday. Tuesday, i called the my ins company and was told nothing had been started for the prior auth for the medication. After multiple calls to the office, i received my meds on WED. my daughter also was to have rx sent to the pharmacy on the same day of the new pt appt, it was not called in until Thursday. My last encounter: i need forms completed for my employer. Forms were sent to the office last week. i only heard back from them today because i wanted to make sure they revived them. i was then advised i need and appt to compete the forms and to pay the co-payment due at that time. i was jsut seen in the office 2 weeks ago and have an follow up appt for next month. Sounds very suspicious......

The last time I went to a Dr. and they asked how I was and my family - was well, never! I've never ever been greeted as caring and compassionately as by Dr. Alexander. After each lab or test I do get a phone call and follow up. Dr. Alexander is smart, attentive, listens and really cares. I would and have recommended her to other friends. She was enthusiastically referred to me by physicians I use and trust. I've never waited to get in to see her if I was ill unlike other practices. Again, outstanding doctor and human being.

While hospitalized at Memorial Hermann-The Woodlands, Dr Sunitha Alexander coordinated my care, so that the source of the problem could be found. Very kind, compassionate, and thorough. Follow-up post hospital office visit, I again found her to be kind, professional and truly interested in my well being. I found that Dr Alexander truly listened to me, the patient, and was able to find the source of my problem.
