Dr. Sunwook Kim Kim-Ashchi

1998 I delivered my son at a teaching hospital at the time and she assisted with the c-section that I had. She would call my son her sumo baby because he was 11 lbs. She was great! I only saw her a few more times for my follow up appts did not see her again till 2003. I was 37 weeks and I needed someone I could trust. I had my tubes tied in 2002 by an unnamed dr. So I got pregnant 14 months later. I know things happen not everything is 100 percent. But 14 months later? So I went looking for her even at 37 weeks Dr. K-A took me in and said she would deliver my baby and cut tie and burn my tubes! She also remembered her sumo baby! lol also she is the one who told me my tubes were clamped and not cut tied and burned. I didn’t even know. She was very sweet she listened explain everything. She even tried to kind of put my tattoo matching back where I had been cut. That was 21 years ago it will be 22 years august 11. Now my middle child (which she didn’t deliver. She did #1 & #2) is having a… baby and she wants to find a new dr because she feels like they don’t listen to her. And she is 28 weeks. I’ve looked a couple of places on line for her but I’m not sure if she is still opened. Not even sure if she delivers babies anymore. I would like to send my daughter her way. Ty Bobbi Smith

She is amazing she delivered our baby just before she had to go out of town to a concert with her daughter and wanted to make sure she was the one to deliver. She has always put a smile on mine and my husbands face and is all the way around a happy person. Thank you again !

I delivered by first child with this practice. Wonderful staff, Excellent Midwives and Dr. Kim-Ashchi always took the time need to answer all my questions. This office made my first pregnancy a wonderful experience. I look forward to seeing them when it's time to have my second child.

Office is empty - yet wait time is 20-25 minutes easy. Staff is fine - do not bother asking questions. They will charge "extra" for any questions you may have. Expect to be rushed in and out like cattle. Not a place I would recommend to any of the friends or family. If you need a quick and dirty appointment for something relatively simple - you should be okay - but outside of that you are looking at the wrong place. There is always traffic and the office is NOT easy to find - if you are 10 minutes late expect to be turned away and charged - which is comical. Poor experience on all fronts. Overall: Not worth the time or money. I would suggest making an appointment elsewhere.

Dr. Kim-Ashchi is an expert in her field. What sets her apart, above her exceptional qualifications, is her sunny attitude. She is like encountering joy and sunsine just when you are most nervous or worried. She is a beautiful person. I wish all doctors were like her!
