Dr. Shaikh is a graduate of Boston University and member of the American Dental Association.  She has great experience in general dentistry as well as knowledge of cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Shaikh takes pride in providing single visit crowns with the new Cerec technology.  Dr Shaikh is also a certified Invisalign preferred provider.  She attends numerous courses and workshops to continue to provide excellent care for her patients.  Having great skills in dentistry, Dr. Shaikh stresses the importance of educating her patients about their oral health and treatment options. She takes continuing education courses at the Scottsdale Center of Dentistry, where she spends a couple of weeks every year to enhance her level of education to provide the best treatment for her patients. She is working towards becoming a Spear Dentist.
Dr. Shaikh has been …with Assabet Dental Group for over 7 Years.  She strives for perfection with each patient , trying to accomodate all needs of the patients and focuses on designing restorations that look and feel natural. Taking into account  the widespread fear and anxiety patients associate with going to the dentist, Dr. Shaikh works hard to create an environment that caters to fearful or apprehensive patients. Dr. Shaikh offers Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for those patients that feel it would make their dental experience more pleasant.
Dr. Shaikh also works at Gardner Family Dental in Gardner Massachusetts part time.
Dr Shaikh is also a certified in Invisalign (invisible braces) and is on the preferred provider list for providing treatment.
Her Interests are in reading , doing yoga and running . She recently ran the 5K at Boston Marathon.She is happily married for 15 years and is blessed with three daughters, Sophia 10 , Norah 7and Zara 3 years old. She loves spending time with her family.
