Dr. Suraj Pruthviraj Rasania, MD

All I can say is that he understands that every patient is different and he individualizes care, rather than considering every patient as a ‘Number’. He has a very personal level touch. He is extremely busy, but I know that it’s for a good reason that multiple patients want to see him. I can’t thank him enough for taking care of our entire family is well and making us all feel good. Also, it’s very warming when his front secretary (Jan or Janet) greets every patient and their family member with a nice smile! Thank you again.

I just moved to Inland Empire from San Jose area, and have seen about 4 cardiologists in my life, some at big medical centers in the SF Bay Area...I can see the difference when I see Dr. Rasania. Don’t be fooled because he doesn’t work at a large tertiary center...this young physician seems to do wonders. I had a 100% blockage that I was told no one could open since it was a high risk procedure. I was referred to him by a close friend in LA, and after looking through my films, he agreed to take on the challenge, and today, I am living a new life because he opened up the blockage! Even if he couldn’t have opened it up, I still commend him because he does his best it seems to take on the most challenging cases that even large centers don’t take on, and he does a phenomenal job of explaining things before, during and after the procedure to me and also my family members, who all were pleased. One of my friends now comes from SF to see him every few months!! Thank you again Dr. Rasania, and… I hope you stay in California for decades to come.

I felt he was one cardiologist who really cared for my dad. He is upfront, shows interest in figuring out what the problem is (cardiac and also if it's non-cardiac)! Sees the patient as a whole, and not just a number. He takes feedback from patients very seriously, since I had a small issue with the office staff, and he took care of it, and also made me discuss with his office manager, Yesenia, who is the sweetest person. See him, and you will realize what true quality care is. He is a human, and seems to try to do his best, and his office can get a little busy, but he will mainly treat you, as well as your family very well. Also, hospital staff claim that he is the one who can open up any blockage in the heart, and has the best technical skills among any of the cardiologists in the entire region. Charming personality as well.

I just can’t thank him. I have no other family members except for my mom, who always had high blood pressure and no one could manage it-until I came across Dr. Rasania. It did take him 2-3 clinic visits and 4-8 weeks, but I could tell a huge difference every time she saw him he actively tried to make something better. He also understood her overall geriatric frailty because of his training that he did with Geriatric heart patients. Thank you for bringing her back to a normal lifestyle and a normal and healthy blood pressure. I just can’t thank you enough Dr. Rasania. His clinic/office team is also the best.

I can’t thank my primary care physician enough for referring me to this gem. I was at the hospital with a heart attack, and another cardiologist had seen me and couldn’t open my blockage. I was then told by some hospital staff members to see Dr. Rasania, who apparently does wonders when it comes to fixing heart blockages. I went to him, he looked over imaging and told me it will be worth trying to open the blockage. Viola- he not only opened the blockage, but he did it in such a caring way and I went home the same evening! I just don’t know how to thank him. I have been able to do things that I hadn’t been able to do for years now. I am Thankful that this physician came to our region. Do not be fooled, he is young, but he is the best one since he knows the latest technologies and equipment.

He has been a great Cardiologist, very on top of things and doesn't wait around to get things done. I could not recommend him more if you need a good Cardio Doctor. One note though his Medical Assistant is lacking in communication, that definitely need to be addressed. Called 2 weeks ago to ask questions about meds, i have still not gotten a call back

I went to see Dr. Rasania on recommendation of a colleague, who had his mom under his care. I can tell who is a good doctor from who is subpar and who is excellent. He is the first doctor in 30 years of seeing physicians that spent real time with me and not only that, he told me facts (which I confirmed with others) that I have never been told about by any other physician. Not only does he know a lot about his field, but he knew so much about a lot of other conditions I had even though he wasn’t managing those. All I can say is that you have to experience a doctor like him. I agree with all other reviewers, and even though fortunately I didn’t need a procedure, I have heard from my colleague that he can do miracles when it comes to tough blockages of the heart. Again, my experience with him has been only in his office, but it was the best experience. I will without any hesitation recommend my own family members to go to him, and I just hope he stays in the area.

I have been seeing physicians in at least 3 different sub-specialties, and they never have time for patients, but that's not the case with Dr. Rasania. He is very very busy, but he makes she that I leave his office every single time with every question and doubt answered. Also, he has wonderful high tech touch screens in his exam rooms on which he explained the way he opened my blockage in detail. I will never go to any other cardiologist. 2 friends of mine went to him, and he knew exactly what needs to be done for them and they feel great. He is younger, and so gives the latest advice. See him once, and you'll forget any other cardiologists you've ever been to.

I haven’t come across such a talented and young, smart cardiologist in my life. Explained things in detail. He saved me from having an open heart surgery by putting in stents in challenging blockages that other cardiologists wouldn’t want to perform because of the complexicity of the blockages (I also went to Cedars and they told me they couldn’t do anything for me too!). This physician is a gem. He proved everyone wrong and saved my life and also avoided me from going through a very risky open heart bypass. Has magical hands in my opinion. Is new on the West Coast, and since he’s young he knew the latest equipment and devices to help open up my challenging blockages. Thank you again Dr. Rasania!
