Dr. Susan Lynn Ashley, MD

DO NOT go to this place. I have to believe the good reviews are b*llsh*t and phony. Reception is rude, the ARPN is a total psycho and Susan Ashley allows patients to be humiliated. I left this place in tears and cried all the way home. I was completely humiliated by the ARPN and then sent a letter telling me not to come back to their office. Like it was my fault!! Unbelievable!! Do not waste your money.

0 stars…after being referred to this practice by my OB…my husband physically went into Susan Ashley’s office to inquire if they took our insurance and were accepting new patients…we were told yes…and proceeded with changing our primary care provider… First, I scheduled an appointment for my daughter (6) who has had a chronic cough to insure she is seen first and we received a text message reminder of the appointment. Next, after receiving the appointment reminder above and still needing appointments for the rest of our family I called the office to schedule a second intake appointment for me and my other daughter (they will only do two intake appointment per family at a time)…during this phone conversation I was not only told that they were maxed out for patients with our insurance and refused us service… they also proceeded to cancel the appointment for my 6 year old… Being confused by this I asked what would had happened if I showed up for the appointment that had previously… been scheduled and confirmed and I was told they would have just turned us away the day of the appointment. I found the staff to be very dry, rude, and uncaring about a situation they had caused…their advice was to call my insurance company…they gave no recommendations for other practices or ways to get help for my daughter who needs to see a dr sooner vs later…and now we have to start the process over…which can take up to a month The next day my husband went back to the office to speak to someone and clarify what happened…they had closed early based on hours posted on the internet…Their website says 5:00, their Google info also says 5:00, (it was 4:45)…my husband also noted the hours were not posted on the door. Furthermore, I called the office twice before this happened, and they never returned either call and she is still currently listed on our insurance website as accepting new patients.

Very poor visit and follow up. Nothing accomplished due to lack of organization and lack of desire to help patients. Needed to leave several messages regarding care that were ignored or fumbled. Staff rude from start to finish.

Nightmare office. In late October I visited the office due to a severe headache due to an incident. The doctor scheduled me for a CAT scan because, and I quote, "I want to make sure you're not bleeding on the brain." She also scheduled me for other specialists, which I then spent the next month trying to track down because the office completely ghosted me after this visit. No one ever bothered to call me. I then emailed the office three times via their website contact form AND the email listed on their website. After several weeks, I played phone tag with a less than responsive front desk receptionist who, BTW, is the rudest receptionist you will ever meet. After doing all the footwork myself, I was able to track down all the specialists but the CAT scan one. Long story short, same rude receptionist tells me it's my imagination, that there is no prescribed CAT scan. Yeah, she called me a liar. in front of people in the office. Then told me to "calm down". So I imagined the entire… doctor visit and referral. Then, I had to explain the incident that caused my injury, which was embarrassing in the reception area and she again told me I was lying and that the doctor takes copious notes so if it does nto say CAT scan or head issues, then it does not exist. Can you believe it? They refused to simply call the doctor to validate what happened and just kept telling me to calm down. I can handle doing all the work and tracking down specialists and doing this offices' job, but I will not be called a liar and if I die because of this brain issue, I want it known publicly that this was MALPRACTICE and was 100% the responsibility of this office for telling me I may be bleeding on the brain, then calling me a liar for wanting the referral and info to get the CAT scan THEY PRESCRIBED. The headaches are worse now, btw and I'm scrambling to find another primary doctor. It's been a nightmare. To illustrate just how incompetent this office is, when I asked them why they never email me back and they said, "we don't answer emails..." So I asked, as any reasonable human being would, then why do you have an email and message portal page on your website. Her answer was, and I quote again here: "I don;t know. We don't have access to our website." Yeah, total sh*t show at this office. Beware.

This office does not even deserve one star. Extremly disorganized and they do not return phone calls. I had to call repeatedly to even make an appointment. It got so bad that I actually called “Healthy Living” next door (which Dr Ashley owns) and asked them to get in touch with the medical office and give me a call back. Unfortunately, I referred my grandaughter to this horrible office and after a year of struggling to even get refills on her medications we found a reliable Dr who takes good care of her. However, my grandaughter received a bill from Dr Ashley’s office for “ breach of contract”, which is unbelievable since Dr Ashley failed to even provide basic refills when requested. Horrible horrible office.

Tried for weeks to get someone to answer the phone or refill a prescription. The women who work there don’t answer the phone, won’t refill prescriptions, and have horridly rude attitudes. They lie and lie and lie. Make six trips down there and they have even more excuses as if the patient is now inconveniencing them. It they have to move off at all it’s a huge inconvenience. Never going back. Why does Dr. Ashley ignore their behavior?

I saw Susan Ashley once in her office. After I was given a plan of treatment I returned for blood work. I never received a call back with test results. I called the office 6 times over 2 weeks and left 6 messages. I never received a call back. Actually I did receive one call back and when I answered the phone no one was on the line. I will never return to this office.

This office doesn't deserve a 1 star. They are the most disorganized, unprofessional, money hungry office that I have ever experienced. I originally had gone in for hormone therapy, but after numerous appointments that were completely unnecessary, and a huge out of pocket bill, I decided after 5 weeks I was done! I would be under the impression that I would go in to get a certain thing done, but Dr. Ashley would spend 5 minutes with me and have me book another appointment. Also, in my opinion, she was always very quick to send me next door to Healthy Living, which she OWNS also, to load me up with vitamins. Personally, she is all in it for the money!

See google review and their response.. They never returned my calls after 3 messages left over a 7 day time frame and a message for Dr Ashley. Not sure if Dr Ashley received the message. The response said the MA talked to me, which is a lie. I wish I could have talked to her. I really like Dr Ashley, and don’t want to find a new hormone doctor. But was basically told when I find a new doctor they will send my records.

Do your health a favor and find a different provider. This office leaves you hanging.They DO NOT return calls.You are left stuck in limbo. Communication is terrible. It has been 6 wks since I was seen and while they found a couple of other issues, my original problems are still unaddressed . For 3 weeks I have been leaving my name, phone #, Date of birth and reason for my call on the answering machine. I have still yet to receive a return call. I understand the staffing crisis that is widespread but I do feel 3 weeks is plenty of time to return a call. UPDATED - I ended up getting my medical records and asked about the referral I have been calling about and was told there was no referral but reference to it in my records. Page 3 of 10 specifically has my referralls from this appointment with the one I kept calling about and still never received a return call. So frustrating that the ball was dropped and no one could even bother a return call after almost a month of leaving messages.
