Dr. Susan Beth Bressler, MD

if I could give negative reviews I would. This physican gate keeps her practice. Will not see patients without review of records, which I appreciate however, onset of acute symptoms, and a one line referral from an optometrist within the Wilmer ecosystem does not a full record review make. FFS y'all, get it together.

She is a dedicated Physician

I would recommend Dr. Susan Bressler to all of my friends. She is a no nonsense, to the point, highly qualified and competent physician, which is why I drive over 90 minutes for an appointment. So sad, to see negative ratings about dress and shoes (looked OK to me....), when one should be focused on one's professional eye care and treatment.

I usually appreciate doctors who are direct with me but she barely made eye contact. I actually felt hopeless after the visit.

I live in the NY area where there are many Retina Eye Specialists......none of them compare to Dr Bressler. I've been going to her for 15 years....if you want the best....she is the best. And no, I'm not a relative of her's

Went to the Wilmer believing that I will be seen in a premier eye institute expecting to be cared for by one of its leading retina specialists (Dr. Susan Bressler) who is also a holder of an endowed chair, but alas...what a disappointment! Waited for hours...after an unfriendly prep by a tech, was then seen by an inexperienced resident/fellow who entered erroneous information regarding my medical history, was then sent to photography...followed by a lengthy wait for the "professor" who lacked courtesy or interest in her patient as a human being. She was unprofessionally dressed, with an attitude leaving her patient terrified of asking a question or even providing him the opportunity to interact. A doctor should not be a robot with no communication skills who treats everyone else as her inferior, who is there as a nuisance to her haughty station! Will not return! Does Wilmer ever look at these reviews?

Please give me a good reason why this woman is employed by Hopkins. Is it because her husband is there? or she brings in lots of money from pharmaceutical companies? She is rude to everybody (not just her staff; she is rude to patients as well). She is always running hours late. She really does not think she has to talk to patients or family unless I guess you are a VIP and give lots of money (I saw it with my own eyes). And why does she dress the way she does? It is highly inappropriate attire for a female professional. Is Hopkins this desperate?

Arrogant and condescending. I waited 45 mins in the exam room for her to show up, then an hour and a half after my radio photography was finished. The entire waiting room was deserted, even the receptionists had left. The appointment was 4 hours long after they called me into the exam room. Very unprofessional appearance

Dr. Bressler does not spend a lot of time in idle chit chat. But that is not why I am going to see her. I am very pleased with my progress. The appointments take a long time, but there is a lot to be done. Highly recommended.

Very rude, condescending, and to top it off, waited forever. Not going back.
