Dr. Susan Ethel Dausch, MD

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Susan Dausch for over six years now. She is consistently cheerful, empathetic, and skilled. Similarly, the front desk staff is not only friendly, but also efficient with check-in/checkout, billing, and scheduling. I’m so appreciative!

This was the best gyn appointment I've had in at least 20 years. Dr. Dausch is very kind & patient. The exam did not hurt at all, which has not been the case most of my previous gyn's. She knows a Lot about hrt & had alternative suggestions for me where other providers w/other practices have either tried to dissuade me altogether from trying hrt, or else have only had one suggestion rather than various combinations & formats. The support staff folks were all very friendly. Odd/quirky thing to say, I like their gowns. They have a little fabric button & feel a little more like 'clothes' than most office exam gowns. They even had a sound machine making wave sounds so that you could be more calm while waiting for your exam. There were quite a few small details like that that made the experience much more pleasant. Highly recommend.

Dr. Dausch, is an excellent doctor. She is helped me for many years with my OB/GYN exams and obstacles. I am so glad that I switched to her a few years ago. she is brilliant!

Dr. Susan Dausch is an OB "OG!" She expertly pairs her empathetic bedside manner with efficiency. At each visit, she asks how I'm doing and gives such a thoughtful, appropriate response each time. Visits with her are consistently on time & efficient, & I'm thankful that she's my OBGYN as a result. She makes me feel comfortable sharing questions, feedback, and concerns, and given her responses, I'm confident that we have the right plan in place for this chapter of my life. So grateful!

I switched to Dr. Dausch a few years ago after seeing her rated "Best of Richmond." I'm so glad I did! She is friendly, highly knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner and explains treatment options. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Dausch is one of a kind. I’ve been her patient for over 10 years now. She’s supported me through 2 pregnancies, 2 births, 2 surgeries, & postpartum. I love how welcoming her practice is. She takes the time to listen, makes sure all of your questions are answered, & follows up which shows how much she cares. She’s like family and I’m so lucky I found her when I did. I would be lost without her!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dausch since 2006. She always remembers me and my history no matter how long I go between appts. She delivered both my babies. Sadly the first was stillborn. I cannot tell you how important a great Dr is under such horrific circumstancs. She was so kind and compassionate. And when I got pregnant with my 2nd, she was my biggest cheerleader. Let me know she was available 24/7. I had a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Dr. Dausch will always have a place in my heart.

I think Dr. Dausch is better suited for pregnant patients. She seemed to have very little time or concern for me and my health. She didn't exam my body in the way that I know a gyny should - she spent so little time on the exam that I felt like I just wasted my yearly appointment and funding for the appointment which means that if there was something wrong, I would have to wait 365 days until my next (and new) doctor would find it. Really felt like it was a waste of time and of my funded/yearly gyny visit.

I have been seeing Dr. Daush for several years and I must say, she is the best doctor I've ever had. She listen's and is very compassionate in her field!!!!!!

Not very compassionate. Doesn't listen to your plan.
