Dr. Susan Nannini Perry, MD

Dr. Perry is very kind and warm when she meets with you. I feel like an actual person who she cares about. She looks you in the eye when having a conversation and does not rush her time with you. I will admit she is usually late, but the amount of attention she pays you in your appointment makes up for it.

This doctor performs painful colposcopys on women. I went and got a second opinion, turned out I didn't even need the colposcopy. I find it weird that 3 different people who I have know all needed a colposcopy too from her. Turns out doctors make a lot of money from doing these procedures and they are fast and easy to do so the more they do the better.

In addition to her professional competence, I really appreciate Dr. Perry's bedside manner. She genuinely cares about her patients. OBGYN Associates is a very large practice, yet I never feel like "just a number" to Dr. Perry. As an aside, I wish more people who've had positive experiences would take the time to rate their doctors on the web. I feel that online ratings are skewed by people who have isolated negative experiences or are chronic complainers. I know lots of other people who see Dr. Perry who would also give her 5 stars!

Always, always, always, 100% of the time, never fail, LATE. And I'm talking, it's not uncommon for me to wait 2 hours after my appt time for her to walk into the room. It's... Tear-your-hair-out frustrating.

This doctor was not respectful of my desires, I told her I wanted a natural labor and she chuckled at me. She told me she would be the one to deliver me, but I went into labor on her day off so she did not. My son came early and she told me to "hope for a girl because they do better in the NICU" I would not use her again or recommend her.

Dr.Perry is a very personale physican. She was very welcoming to me durning every visit. I had some contractions early on and she wanted to have me try other options before turning to medications to stop them. She has been very recptive to my desires for the birth. I truely feel comfortable having me and my babies health in her hands.
