Not trauma educated, aware, or informed- or seems to care about the impact of traumatic stress on patients. Concerned more about her EGO than patients seeking additional help when they need it. Does not inquire why the patient seeked additional care or if the additional care helped, instead much of the visit is spent telling the patient that she ordered the same antibiotic as the ER. I needed help standing up due to severe pain. Walking was painful. Sleeping was painful. I needed a chair to get into bed. It took to people to sit me up because I was in so much pain the first time I saw her- and it was still a struggle. I was also concerned about missing work- they ER resolved that. That is why I went- but she never asked. Also- she needs to learn about traumatic stress-it is not remote if a patient still experiences PTSD symptoms in situations in which the original trauma occurred- from someone who has a lot of training in traumatic stress. She also struggles with writing… helpful, complete and accurate medical records. Likely because she never asked the questioned needed- like why are you coming in to the clinic today? (I was coming because I had three specific questions) She never asked why did you go to the ER or how did the ER help? Or are you feeling better. Her medical records caused more harm than support. Luckily she left Lakeview and I feel safe seeking help in the walk-in clinic again. If she was still there I would not go back to the walk in clinic.
