Dr. Susan Weiss Hardt, MD

Dr. Hardt was wonderful until I got sick! For 20 years I was her "role model' for aging. She did not test for, or diagnose, a developing cancer that was immediately recognized by my dermatologist at another hospital. All geriatric patients probably need to seek care from larger hospitals. Much to my disappointment,Cambridge Health Alliance was not rigorous in protecting its patients.

I have had Dr. Susan Hardt as my doctor for close to 10 years now. I really like her for several reasons. She is very approachable, very easy to talk to. She is, to me, the epitome of "down to earth". While she is always very professional and respectable, I feel at ease with her and comfortable with her. I feel safe to share anything with her and am secure that she will listen to me and give me her full attention. I have been with doctors whom I feel patronize me or it feels they look down on me or my medical concerns. I never feel that way with Dr. Hardt. I feel she always takes me seriously and responds appropriately. She neither talks over me or talks down to me. She answers all my questions clearly, and repeats information if I ask for it. She is patient and accessible. I really like her and intend to continue having her as my PCP. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
