Dr. Susan Inonog, MD

I made an appointment with Dr. Inonog at Harbor Health. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, but it went downhill from there. A medical assistant whose name I believe was Joshua (he no longer works there) took my vitals and couldn't even manage to use an automated blood pressure machine properly; I was losing circulation and my hand started to turn purple. I mentioned it and he didn't appear to care. I waited in the room for the doctor but instead a nurse practitioner STUDENT, came in to review the list of items I wanted to discuss. She was perfectly friendly, but when I asked when the doctor would come in, she told me the doctor wasn't going to come in at all. Apparently Dr. Inonog was on the phone. I made an appointment to see a doctor and saw a student instead. After I complained, the doctor came in over an hour later and seemed irritated to have to even speak to me. She also said she wouldn't have time to discuss all the things I wanted to talk about. I thought she might be… kidding since she was over an hour late to her own appointment. Incredibly unprofessional and not remotely compassionate. The post-appointment communication got even worse, if that is possible. The messaging provided on the portal was disorganized and incomplete. The phone calls from medical assistant contradicted the messaging on the portal / what the doctor said. It is important to note we are talking about an annual exam and basic bloodwork, it was not complicated but they somehow made it complicated. The follow-up appointment to review the bloodwork was also not done by a doctor (but this time they prepared for that by stating the appointment would be with a nurse practitioner). What I don't understand is why they can't simply email the full bloodwork results as a PDF and let you know if you need to discuss anything irregular - this is typical. I would never come here again, I was treated like an inconvenience at best, and I have no faith in the quality of medical care able to be administered by this team.
