I did not give Dr. Laenger all 10's........ She earned very single one of them. *Compassion: Dr. Laenger puts herself in "my shoes". She tries to understand the medical and the mental obstacles I am facing. *Understanding: Dr. Laenger is a physician and a student , she listens, she asks questions and then she applies her knowledge and expertise. *Empathy: You can't teach this...I know Dr.Laenger truly cares. That care and and professionalism is emulated by her staff. (especially Billie) *Honesty: Unquestioned honesty. *Commitment: After 20 years ...I am sure she is just as eager to help as her patients as she was as a first year resident. *Competence: Dr. Laenger went to St. Louis University School of Medicine a top school for Primary Care. She has their commitment to self-directed lifelong learning. She will research something on the spot during an appointment and she will mention things she has researched that apply to my situation. *Humanity: I can tell… she loves her profession. She knows she is having a positive impact on my life. *Courage: She will listen intently but she is not afraid to tell me (nicely) that I am wrong. *Respect: She has never been pompous or talked down to me. We have a mutual respect for each other. We are a team in our own little ( 2 years at this point) Clinical Trial. We have written goals and plans to achieve those those goals. When we have an appointment we go over those goals and tweak them if necessary. Graphically our goal chart slopes upward to the right :) Please feel free to share my letter. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Laenger. She takes the time to sit with you and address all your concerns. She gave me a very thorough plan to deal with some health issues, explained everything very well, took the time to answer all my silly questions without ever making me feel silly for asking them. You feel cared for, listened to, and never rushed. With a specialist I don't mind short and brusque but with a primary I always want the type of care Dr. Laenger is really good at: patient, kind, intelligent, with great communication. A wonderful experience all around.

Dr. Laenger is the best!! She has such a great bedside manner that since I have moved I am finding it hard to find a doctor who meets my standards. I highly recommend her!
