If you have gastrointestinal issues, see another doctor! If you want a routine colonoscopy at the clinic that she has a financial interest in, then see her. I went to her after seeing three doctors about stomach pain, she said that I needed a colonoscopy and to take Miralax, but not diagnosing the issue. After the colonoscopy, she told me take Miralax for the rest of my life. She only processes an insurance billing code for a routine colonoscopy, not for a diagnostic colonoscopy, which the secondary insurance will not cover it. After the first appointment, she diagnosed for general anxiety disorder on every visit, as well! I wished I had looked at all her negative reviews and bullying comments prior to making an appointment.

Dr Lucak is very proffessional and explains different matters very well. I trust her and I feel I am in the best hands concerning my stomach issues. Would recommend her to everyone! Her secretary is also very nice!

I wonder if she really cares about her patients. After seeing her for a serious matter, she never followed up to see how I was, never called to give me test results, and seemed almost robotic at the office visit. Not sure if this works for me.

Dr Lucak is an experienced and knowledgeable physician who picked up an extremely life threatening situation on a routine colonoscopy. She is extremely conscientious. Very fortunate she’s my doctor!!

Dr. Lucak believes that her one procedure for treating IBS is the only way. She recommends increasing use of a mild laxative. Despite evidence that this was not helpful she did not offer any solutions. She was generally very rushed. The examining room is smaller than a bread basket, very uncomfortable. I would not recommend her at all.

My first meeting was very stressful. She did all the talking and my husband or I could not get a word in edgewise. She insisted I was constipated and put me on miralax, I ended up with diarrhea and cramps. At the end of appt, she said if miralax does not work, she will prescribe a tricyclic antidepressant, which is what any general GI would do. When I told her I take pepcid complete after meals, she said that was odd. She tells all her patients to take 40 mgs. at bedtime. I also told her I take gaviscon after meals. She said that neutralizes acid, why are you taking that?? These medications have worked for me for the last 6 years! I would not recommend this doctor. She is cold and not compassionate.

Dr. Lucak is such a pleasant doctor, very informative, thorough ,and patient. She took her time to explain my diagnosis and procedure. I would recommend her to others. The only thing I would change is her secretary. She was not friendly at all ;she seemed a bit rude.
