Dr. Susan Laurie Madonna

I really like Dr. Madonna and I am sad that I have to switch offices but the staff is horrible I think they pick up discount idiots to run the place. They have screwed up several prescriptions, appointments and I think they are slower than the MVA.

The first time i went to that office in 2011 i should have run street the first visit. She spent much of the appointment on her cell phone playing Farmville and googling information about my diagnosis. Someone from the office even broke protocol and violated HIPAA. For some unknown reason i went back for a second visit. This time whoever made the appointment screwed up and did not schedule me for a physical as i had asked for when i made the appointment (mind u i used pto n took tome off work for this). So they say they scheduled me for a medicine check. Dr. Madonna told me she felt i was on the wrong medicine and would not continue the prescription for my antidepressants. She referred me to a psychiatrist saying that her office is poorly run and cannot handle someone with my condition. I explained to her that with my high deductible insurance i cannot afford to go to a specialist and asked her to help me wean off of the medicine that I've been on for 6 months so that i could try to… avoid the withdrawal symptoms. She refused stating she didn't think i should stop taking the medicine. Do the end result is a depressed person being denied treatment and being forced by a doctor to quit medication that i need cold turkey. I will never go back to that place and I'd never advise anyone else to either.

Excellent physician who took the time to sit with me and do a full medical history. No rushing and genuinely interested in assisting her patients.

Dr. Madonna was wonderful and caring. She was very thorough and really listened to me. I am so very glad I found her.

Worst bedside manner I have ever received. Rude and unprofessional. I will be changing doctors because of her unprofessionalism
