Dr. Susan Mani, MD

I have see Dr Mani since I was diagnosed with CHF in 2006. She is simply the best! She is an outstanding doctor who is interested in her paitents on both a clinical and personal level. Her bedside manner is outstanding. While she became my doctor because she was the attending on duty when I was admitted, my primary care physician speaks highly of her, and sees her for his own cardiac issues. Dr Mani is not arrogant or talk down to you. She also had no hesitation about me folllowing up with two specialist in Boston and NY. I'm followed by another cardiologist at Columbia-Presbyterian, and he was her attending when she was doing her fellowship. When I see him, he reminds me that he wants Dr Mani to come back to Columbia-Presbyterian and work with him. She is simply the BEST.

I have seen Dr. Mani for about 1 1/2 year. She first saw me as an inpatient at Danbury Hospital. At that time I found her to be very interested in the information I give her as well as diagnosing problem areas. She is by far the best cardiologist I have seen, and I am so happy to be her patient.

I think Dr. Mani is a wonderful doctor. She is compassionate, understanding and very easy to talk too. I would highly recommend her....

Dr. Mani is an excellent doctor who cares about her patients as a person and not just a number. I feel comfortable with her treating me for my heart condition.

Dr. Mani spent as much time as I wanted discussing issues and has been diligent in follow up with my bi-annual checkups. She has a wonderful personality and I highly recommend her - especially as a woman. She's thorough and understanding and gives you as much information as you need. I feel lucky to have her as my cardiologist!
